I Hate My Job

I’m 26 years old & work for a Tech Marketing firm in LA as a Tech BA aka a Requirements Monkey. I hate it…No matter how many nights I’m up until midnight working, it doesn’t feel like my work or efforts are even remotely appreciated. All that’s ever pointed out is that I need to do more or I need to “button up” my requirements, in other words I suck at job. No matter what, my boss is never happy unless he chews up my work & spits it out. It’s the feeling when someone makes you feel incompetent & you suck at your job. It almost feels like I’m being targeted.

I’m not sure what to do. I not only want to leave the company, but I want to change my role completely. Better yet, this makes me want to be my own boss that much more!! I can’t stand someone having the power over my workload, my career, or how I feel on a day to day basis. Fuck corporate America l!!
