I agree with you, Too Faced cares more about the packaging, marketing, and themes of their products way more than the actual quality. The only reason I would (and do) lift their stuff is to boost and take advantage of the hype surrounding these palettes

I was so disappointed with the chocolate bar palette! The colors didn’t make sense together and the formula was terrible. The packaging of their products is v cute but the quality is really really bad. I do like the colors in the peach palette though 🍑

Yeah, I really do like Too F@ced Boudoir eyes, but all the other ones I feel their overhyped and they honestly make me mad with that whole limited edition crap especially the stuff they do around Christmas because I get super pumped every year about it and honestly it ends up looking the same except the packaging has changed. But I feel like a lot of the trouble caused at ult@ has been caused by the peach and chocolate bar palettes(semi,bon, all of it) so I guess that’s one reason why I hate that stupid palette so much. Because it boosts so well and ours even have the cubes death on it. I feel like the N@ked palettes and the two f@ced palettes helped start a lot of problems at ult@.

I actually really love the Too Faced palettes, but those liquid lipsticks? They smell like paint and are just gross and I fail to see what the hype is all about. LIFTYLILA'S 8Cs TO AVOID BEING CAUGHT

C- costume. If worst comes to worst and you are caught on cam and exposed online, you want to ensure you don't look like yourself. Try not to lift looking like your usual self and only when you're incognito.

C- check for cams. No moving your head to the ceiling. Avoid shifty eyes. Use the black screen of ur phone to reflect the ceiling. Utilise being outside the store to look for cams. Scope out the store beforehand without lifting anything.

C- check for tags. RFIDs can be sneaky and disguised as barcodes. Either peel them off or slice them through the middle to deactivate.

C- check inside the packaging. Sometimes tags can be hidden inside.

C- customers. You want an empty shop floor and a busy dressing room. Avoid concealing in front of customers as they can be plain clothed LPs or just idiots with a hero complex.

C- conceal. In a blind spot or in the dressing rooms. "If you can't see the cameras, the cameras can't see you" typically works. Bending down is also a good bet. Stick to on body concealment as much as possible as they may ask to check your bags on the way out.

C- customer service. Are they susing you? Keep asking if you need a bag or just giving you dirty looks? Might mean they're onto you. Trust your gut.

C- call. Feeling anxious? Fake a phone call. Something along the lines of: "No, I'm literally right by the door... I can't see you... Ugh hang on, yknow (insert any location)? I'll meet you there instead.

i fucking beeped for the first (and hopefully last) time. i stopped at the doorway for a millisecond to process the situation and then i just walked straight into another shop and into their changing room to look at what went off.

i'm so idiotic, i didn't bother looking for tags because i always lîft that item (false lashes) from there (śûp3rdrug) with no issue. there staring me in the face was a bloomingly obvious rfid tag.

I wasn’t actually planning on getting anything when I took these, so I broke my No Impulse Stèals rule, whoops ://// Also these are all testers bc I’m a glittery garbage goblin who doesn’t give a frick✨✨✨ I tried to get unused testers from the Clinique counter by taking a tester, telling the SA that it was gone, and then swiping the new tester she’d put out. But she didn’t have any left so I kept it :/ I did it again at the Dior counter, but before I could say anything the SA noticed they were missing and called a security guard over, and he said he’d go “check it out and deal with it”, so I legged it after that. Thankfully I didn’t do anything on camera lol😋 The moral of this story is don’t be afraid to nab testers bc these lip glosses and the oil are amazing and beautiful, choose carefully bc mine are pretty much pristine despite being testers! But some might not be.

The bra method

Your at the store and you are some cute lipstick (or any small item) and you want to lift it, only you didn’t plan on lifting so you brought your tiny purse! (or no purse) Well, here is a simple way to still be able to lift the item. This only works for girls, so sorry guys.

Take the item you want into a blind spot. Take two of the same thing if you want. Now open your shirt a little and stick the item into your bra! I usually tuck it between my books so it stays in place, but you can also put it under one boob and get two items. Then just make your shirt normal and go about your day!

i work at a jewelers and everything is locked up in cupboards. we definitely do get in trouble and can get sacked if anything gets stolen (like if we accidently leave something open or if something is taken when our back is turned)

so for this reason, i urge that you don't łîft items that employees have to show you (rather than you look at yourself) because those employees WILL get in trouble
