The Stone Family- 

Jared Stone (Bradley Cooper)- Jared grew up in Laguna Beach, always working toward his current job. His dream job- a publicist to the stars. He belong to a semi-famous company and worked hard, promoting up and coming stars. His favorite daughter, much to his disdain, is his eldest Ava, though to the outside world, Natasha comes off as a daddy’s girl. 

Pamela Stone (Christina Applegate)- Pamela never followed the norm of Laguna Beach ever since she’d moved from South Oregon. She stuck to what she’d always wanted and after graduating college, went on to be an elementary social studies teacher. History fascinates her and she enjoys using it to prove modern theory. Similar to Jared, she prefers Ava’s company to Natasha’s, yet does her best to keep up appearance when in a crowd.

The Matthews

 Tim and Molly Matthews (Leonardo DiCaprio and Ruth Wilson) -

A product of their old times raising, Tim and Molly always brought up their son in an extremely religious household. When a child is young, they’re extremely impressionable. That being said, they took this opportunity to mold Sam into what they wished for him to be: A successful business man. Though Sam had his own ideas for life, they still loved him just as much. As long as he was following the path that God had paved for him, there was no reason not to. The Matthews family lived a very happy and secure lifestyle, always being financially safe and living in nice parts of town. Even if they were less than courteous to their neighbors, always being the town gossip and sticking their noses where they didn’t belong, they were a respectable, well liked couple, only hoping for the best to come for their son. Spending most days away from home and busy at work as an accountant, Tim never got much quality, bonding time with Sam, even though the fact didn’t seem to bother either of them. He did love his son and he wanted to be a part of his life, Tim just wasn’t open to emotions and truly feeling anything. It was all about work and money to him. Sam’s mother, however, did put more effort into building a strong relationship with her son, as she stayed at home most days, cleaning things here and there. Learning from his father, Sam was never very open about his emotions, his mother’s attempts at getting her son to open up and make strong family ties all shot to pieces. A typical American family with their one loved son and a dog. That was them. And that typical, average family was the reason Sam had to hide and wear his mask. What would he be if he couldn’t carry on the Matthews family name, generation after generation? He’d have to be content with his permanent Halloween costume.

You can begin making carnival posts tomorrow afternoon and just to make things accessible for everyone, feel free to carry on throughout the majority of the weekend. 

Be sure to get active and participate, this should be fun! Also remember that if you want a storyline with someone, be sure to message them and discuss it there. For new members, we'd like to have you all's email addresses so we can add you to the OOC chat sideblog we created, just to cut down the text and ooc posts clogging up the dash, since this is a paragraph RP.

The Chambers

Nathan & Laurel Chambers (Christopher Meloni/Mariska Hargitay)- Nathan and Laurel brought might not have been as well as most people in Laguna Beach but they didn’t let that keep them from being a happy family. Nathan’s a homicide detective so he works many long hours and is often very exhausted from work. Laurel on the other hand is a bank teller. They got married straight out of high school and had Simon, their only child, when they were twenty one. It wasn’t easy when Simon grew up. Long hours often cause Nathan and Laurel to fight but they kept it from Simon as best as they could. Nathan’s proud of Simon for following in his wrestling footsteps and hopes he can go somewhere someday with it.
