He had wandered around Fableton questioning many residents about Jasmine’s appearance. Aladdin had described her hair, her angelic face, her stature. Only a few people knew who he was describing and they offered him relief as one of them led him to the Agrabah Antiques. Of course, why wouldn’t she have been there? Aladdin thanked the elderly woman and put a warm hand on her shoulder as he said goodbye.
It didn’t take long for him to rush the door, but he hesitated momentarily. Pressing his lips together thinly, Aladdin finally made his way through the door, the little bell chiming behind him as he strolled in. “Jasmine?” He called out, eyes darting around the shop. He eventually spotted her curled up in a chair and he breathed in relief, again. Pacing over to her, a bright wide smile filled his face. “I’ve finally found you!” He exclaimed, quite excited.
Her eyebrows shot up at the voice. It was the kind, so warm and dear, that even if the whole world fell apart entirely, she’d know it. Without thinking, she threw herself at the voice, wrapping her arms tightly around him and taking in a deep breath. Slowly, she peeled herself back to gaze upon the face she feared she’d never see again.
But, as her eyes focused through the gloom, she realised it wasn’t that face at all. She furrowed her eyebrows, her nose wrinkling as she stared at the unfamiliar man. “Who are you?”
