How long will they last? - Always. They both tell each other this, even when knowing that Yu will move away for a time to finish high school. After that, I imagine them reuniting if they can, if not, after they finish university. Naoto makes sure to text Yu every day in all caps. They will keep up as much they can when apart unless work or school gets in the way. I see them as going into the same field, which is likely to be detective or police work. Criminals in Japan beware for the detective couple!
How quickly did/will they fall in love? - A couple to few months. Naoto actually fell in love with Yu quicker than you may have imagined. Yu is an exceptional person for Naoto, one of the few who is on the same wavelength, shares the same hobbies and skills, and respects Naoto for who Naoto is. This is really important for Naoto, who had problems with self-acceptance and not having someone who understands and can be confided in. Yu is also a huge nerd like Naoto
How was their first kiss? - Passionate. Naoto let it all out and Yu kept up and gave as good as he got. They kissed on the beach on Valentine’s day. Naoto was totally inexperienced, but Yu didn’t mind.
