driving in massachusetts really is a nightmare like you’ll be going 70 in a 45mph zone because apparently it’s an unwritten and unspoken rule that everyone has somehow agreed upon that this is how fast we are going to drive on this road that is sort of technically a highway (has a route number & is a major road several lanes wide) but also sort of not (has regular traffic lights and intersections)

anyways you’ll be going 70 in a 45 zone because everyone drives that fast on that road, okay fine, but even if you are going 70 there’s always still some asshole who comes up behind you and rides your bumper and starts rapidly flashing their high beams in your rearview and aggressively trying to pass you like my DUDE i am going SEVENTY MILES AN HOUR in a FORTY-FIVE ZONE because this is the commonly agreed upon speed what do you WANT from me. i am NOT going to go 90 here and you fucking blinding me at night will not change that. god they really don’t call them massholes for nothing huh
