the new notes bar just really evidences how awful the reblog ratio on art is lately like Damn. this is insane. to think a couple of years ago i was annoyed at 1:5 ratios. tumblr does not work like twitter or instagram, likes do close to nothing to push a post. you guys Need to reblog art you like, or people will simply stop posting

honestly i think making this website more visually like twitter is truly worse for tumblr reblog culture, because it makes people think that this site works like twitter when it very much does not. if you like a post and want people to see it, then you need to reblog it
