Having a little with an Eating Disorder means

Constantly negotiating meal plans that make them comfortable while still keeping them healthy

Assuring them that the snacks they just ate won’t make them “ugly” or “gross”

Reminding them that they are beautiful! That they were made with a beautiful body that you love

Finding ways to get them to try new foods hoping that they will eat more

Staying up late at night talking to them and drying their tears, letting them know that you love them no matter what they look like

Checking in throughout the day to see if they’ve had enough to eat and drink

Feeling incredibly proud when they eat full meals all on their own!!

Teaching them to love themselves, and showing them how beautiful they really are everyday

Letting them know that even though they are struggling, you are there for them the every step of the way. Letting them know that you support them through the ups and downs. Letting them know that you love them so so much. Because even though they might not tell you, hearing all those “I love yous” really help

Ways to make an age regressor happy

- Reward them for doing a good job even if it doesn’t seem like that big of a deal

- Fix a bottle/sippycup/etc. of their favorite drink without them asking

- Give them tummy rubs (this can be good as a relax thing but also helps with menstrual cramps!)

- If you’re long distance, text them “Good morning, my little [insert nickname here]” to let them know they were the first thing on your mind

- Surprise them with a new stuffie for their collection

- Or stickers!! stickers are good too

- give them forehead kissies

- Ask them about important health things like “have you brushed your teeth?” or “How much water have you drank today?”

- Play their favorite game with them

- initiate a cuddle session :3

-Play with their hair or brush it (it’s good for bed time routines cause it can be really relaxing!)

- buy them a small treat like ice cream or hot cocoa depending on the season

- Always tell them you love them!!
