The Yahoda Family - Not So Berry Challenge
I've been at this challenge for 2+ years now, and I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel! As the Pink Gen approaches its end, here are some pictures of this legacy and some background on their relationships <3
Teenage Mara (my Orange Gen sim) and her father, whose name I forgot gdfhds
Teenage Kashta and Zeve, twin daughters of Mara, in their lakeside home in San Myshuno. Even though they didn't have much of a family unit, they found family in each other (and as they grew old, in their father Wade too).
Ryleigh and Naart Yahoda, niece and brother of Mara, visiting for Winterfest. Naart was Mara's older brother, but he passed not too long before her. Now Ryleigh keeps on his legacy and is still an active member of the family, and a lovely cousin to Kashta and Zeve.
This little one is Axel, the family dog that was mostly under jurisdiction of Kashta as they were growing up. He was the reason Kashta went on to become a veterinarian and own her own vet clinic in Willow Creek, where she now lives.
The moment they turned young adults, Zeve moved out of the Spice Market and into a small TLC apartment in the Fashion District. Hopeless about becoming a writer, she followed her parents' footsteps and went into the Business career, climbing the ladder until she was Vice-President.
But as soon as she unexpectedly had Eirin, consequence of a woo-hoo partnership with her ex-teenage sweetheart and best friend Tatum, Zeve couldn't see a world where she wouldn't let Eirin follow her dreams, and so she went after hers herself.
Tatum moved in with her as they rented a house in Willow Creek, right next to her sister. Zeve quit her job and finally published all the books she had been writing in the years she worked in business. Tatum found himself landing a job as a Tech Guru, making it possible for them to have a steady income and for Zeve to be able to write and be present for Eirin.
Zeve and Tatum ended up establishing a co-parenting dinamic, as Zeve found she didn't have any romantic interest in general but still had a deep desire to form a family and to have Tatum be part of it.
As Eirin grew and they found their financial footing (and thanks to a hefty inheritance), Zeve and Tatum were able to buy a bigger house to raise the children, as Zeve ended up getting pregnant of twins, Danne and Cyfra, who are now toddlers. Located in Brindleton Bay, the house also has a lovely greenhouse, where Zeve is able to cultivate an exuberant garden.
Eirin is now a child, and on track to take on the Peach Gen challenges! Honestly, I'm just relieved to be so close to the end, but also this has been the most fun I've had with a sims family. Seven generations down, three more to go!
