Two Curious Gerbils Visit (and Chew on) a Miniature Art Museum Made by Their Quarantined Owners
isn’t it insanely fucking wild how our entire way of living changed in just a couple of weeks. like. worldwide? the entire world changed COMPLETELY in just weeks. did we ever even imagine that humanity could change so easily in the middle of crisis? we were always taught that global changes take time and are hard to achieve, and just like that, we’re all suddenly living in completely different conditions, our mindset has completely changed and we’ve created new habits in no time, have incorporated the words “quarantine” and “infection/infected” to our vocabulary and drop them in the regular without even noticing it. it’s incredible the way this virus has exposed that many, many of the worlds problems can be solved just that easily, and we’ve been lied to our whole lives just because the people in charge don’t care about them
Statue based on Leonardo daVinci’s famous concept for artificial wings.
This is so fucking beautiful!

The Doll’s Head Trail
This trail is located in Constitution Lakes Park, a nature preserve just a few miles from Atlanta GA. The trail is created for and dedicated to “found art.”
The Doll’s Head Trail was the work of a local carpenter named Joel Slaton, who envisioned an art project created from discarded doll parts and other trash that was scattered around the site. So, while visitors are encouraged to contribute to this trail, what they contribute must be found within the park itself.
This helps cleanup the nature preserve while adding to the art.
Directions: The entrance to Constitution Lakes Park is near the east side of the intersection of Moreland Ave and South River Industrial Blvd SE. Follow trails and signs from the parking lot to access the Doll’s Head Trail.
what type of bug is this
I ACTUALLY KNOW EXACTLY HOW THIS HAPPENED.
When typing up the instructions, the pharmacist or technician was probably using shorthand in the computer, which automatically translates into text a patient can understand. The shorthand for this would have originally been ‘2 pfs po q4h prn hs’, where ‘prn’ stands for ‘as needed’. And there was a typo, so ‘prn’ became ‘pr’, which stands for ‘per rectum’ (aka rectally). I’ve done this myself on accident with ‘diabetes’ (DIAB) and ‘diarrhea’ (DIA), as well as prn and pr.
…And that was your medical jargon lesson for the day, kiddies.
