I really love this AU and this version of A.B.E.L taking control of the Circus! Caine’s design is my favorite in this AU! He looks awesome, but also very tragic. Knowing that A.B.E.L completely strips his powers away and sealed his jaw shut to make him no longer speak or see, makes me feel bad for him and want to save him. It doesn’t just punish him, it changes who he is in a traumatic way.

What I really love about BackUp AU is seeing Caine getting a redemption arc, and the Cast becoming more sympathetic towards him. It really shows that they care about him, and are also there to comfort him and help as best they could when they have “a free day.” Despite what Caine did in Ep 7 and how much he irritated some of them, they all still felt guilty for what they had done to him.

And while Jax is still an asshole and still mad at Caine (well, he’s mad at everything, everyone and himself), he does care, he just refuses to open up and be honest to anyone.

I’m looking forward to see more of this AU and what ideas they’ll draw next! ✨
