Today we got out of bed at 6 am so that we could enjoy the sunrise. Unfortunately, it was cloudy yet we enjoyed it and for the last time the beach in Koh Samui. After getting beach to the hotel we had a small rest and packed our stuff. Around 11 am, we took the public taxi to the pier and enjoyed our last hours in Koh Samui.

Now we are in Surat Thani again, waiting for our train to arrive. Unfortunately, the train arrives on 1:30am. It is still 6 hours to go. Therefore we went to the closest hotel in order to get rid of our luggage. After some noodles, luckily we found a nice cafe with wifi where we can kill some time ^^

Craving in old memories :)

2010 was an exciting incredible year. The first 5 months, my best friend JiaJia and I, we spend our exchange semester abroad in Canada and attended the Brock University in St. Catharines. There we met another Maastricht University student who we grew very close to- Jan Willem (half German/Belgian). After the semester abroad, we didn’t see each other often anymore as I went to Rotterdam for my Master. After 3 years, the three of us finally met and it was an amazing evening with laughter, craving in memories,playing games and delicious food (JiaJias cuisine is just the best). As Willem will stay in Germany for the next two months, I hope we can meet again soon. To all the other exchange students which we shared this great experience - We miss you all deary, especially, Nicole and Jun!

I don’t know why but it is always funny to see how little children tries a lemon for their first time. Although it is somehow mean as well, I am still curious how my little niece will react to it.. Have a look at the video and enjoy :)

When my sister and I decided to go for lunch today, we thought it would be a great idea to go by one car (Due to parking situation in the city center). What happened: I locked us out, which resulted in no key, no money, no diapers.. So my sister had to take my car to go to my brother in law’ office to get the key and lil’ Emma and I went to my office. Yes believe it or not, World Duty Free Group temporarily had the most cutiest “employee” in the world ^^

Really enjoyed last evening. Great music, nice people to hang with and ended with beautiful firework. Who says that Solingen has nothing to offer? ;)
