What’s Friendsim 2?
Friendsim 2 is a fan-made sequel to Hiveswap: Friendsim set after the events of Friendsim and Pesterquest.
Who’s making this?
Friendsim 2 is being developed by Studio June, an artist-run collective of Homestuck fan creators committed to creating meaningful, engaging, professional fan projects the address issues of the original work while providing a platform for queer, trans, and other marginalized people creating fan works.
When is it coming out?
We are currently in pre-production and project planning, with developed schedule to start in full later this year and the first release scheduled for 2022.
What makes this special?
We have creators involved in numerous major fan game projects, including New Game Plus, Befriendus, DistantQuest, and Midnight City. Friendsim 2 will not only feature a brand-new interconnected narrative experience, but will have new art assets, sprites, backgrounds, music, sound effects, and more.

We plan to have full character voice-acting, featuring voice talent, editors, and producers from several Homestuck vocal projects.

Wait is this gonna cost money?
This is a completely free fan project being run by people who genuinely love the Hiveswap characters and want to create engaging content with them. This project is non-commercial and will never cost a cent to the people who want to play it!
