birdie-isms:
SHE’S FUCKING TIRED OF BEING MISUNDERSTOOD. she doesn’t belong here ( as far as she knows ) and she wants to go. but currently, there’s nothing she can do. so she might as well get comfortable. she just walks along the hallway in silence until she comes across another. “ what’s a girl gotta do to get some flowers around here ??” she knows its a strange request, but blythe has always been a ‘rare bird’ ( she got the nickname for a reason ).
“Are you talking about literal flowers, or hypothetical ones?“ Picking up on whatever the new girl had to say, Lilly was slightly cautious. Albeit not a dumb blonde like her hair colour might suggest, she didn’t always catch up on sarcasm and the like. “Best follow their rules if you want to get your hands on anything around here. Take your meds, eat your meals, don’t start a fight with other patients, basically live a dull life and you’ll get whatever.” She shrugged. Granted, Lilly hadn’t been the most difficult patient and she still hadn’t been allowed certain privileges. Strictly speaking she didn’t even know how long one had to be a good little girl before they’d be allowed to.
