When your husband writes something like this on your Facebook wall...
The way she looked at me when I opened my eyes and saw her standing before me with that smile was that of everything falling into place. It was such a quiet understanding, of "you were the one behind all those letters", or "you were the one behind all these feelings." It was an "ah-ha" moment, like when a plot comes full circle. Every moment before served the purpose of leading up to this one, like a sudden release of tension, or a giant inhalation of air that a baby takes after being in the dark for nine months. I had no idea what to expect, or accept: all I knew was there she was, and there we were. All of a sudden, it was us: like some kind of checkpoint, or beginning. She was wearing yellow, and I felt like it was sunlight yellow or morning yellow. I had closed my eyes before she had gotten there to meet me, to try and swallow any nervousness I had. I had closed my eyes and woke up to seeing hers, as if I had slipped in from one world to another as easily as the ocean becomes the shore. The first thing she did was tap the pen out of my ear: yup, no words necessary from here on. All my pen-scraping of barren pages for signs of love were no longer needed. I was complete in this now, of seeing her in first person for the first time in two years, with the weight of my whole being into that anticipated encounter. Whatever I did to get here before this was as faint as the events in a dream. All my worries were wiped clean. All I knew was this is us, and we are here. We didn't need to say much, or anything. I continued to inquire about the coffee she was drinking or something socially awkward of that nature as I always do, but I knew she silently looked past it and just wanted to be there. I was waiting for her there. And she arrived. We never looked back. akjdfaewf8888

We both stopped writing about each other for quite some time now. So seeing this on my wall brought me so much joy! I'm blessed to have married someone like him.
