Trying to get back into drawing by doing some traditional arts! Gosh its been so long since Ive used these markers but they still work beautifully! 🙌🏻

Drafaid has been on my mind non-stop so here's a drawing of her 💜

K'anfiyn | Aquatic people capable of a minor transformation to go from the water to land at will

Bam! Made this back in July 2023 and I'm still quite proud of it!

K'anfiyn are an aquatic race that are capable of transforming into a 2 legged form to walk around on land. They're very flexible and have a pouch on their torso that can hold a surprising amount of things. Most common use for this being offspring, but possession or other objects can fit as well!

Most of these people are very in tune with nature, and it's very common to see them with an animal or insect companion of sorts.

They also need to keep themselves moist on land, and very few of them (outside of having Sar'eth biology in them) are able to handle extreme cold.

I've now recently come up with the idea that they're capable of changing colours all over their body at will, and often will use their hands or tentacles to trace out designs and shapes as they please! Startling one of them can sometimes cause them to completely change colours rapidly or mess up their designs, but they can change back to normal no problem.

I'll definitely be making fun and colourful designs for my K'anfiyn characters going forward!

Found some old doodles of mine from years ago!

Unfortunately I did not start putting dates on my art until like the past 3-4 years so I have no clue when these were made other than I think high school sometime 😅

Iris, Osinier (Fear, at the time!), and Lynch

Don't fully remember what the conversation was here other than Iris being threatened by Osinier for either messing up a previous job or slacking on the current one 😅 then Iris opens a portal to somewhere

Iris and Lynch are both Osinier's lackeys, so to speak! Unsure how that'll be with the way things have currently been changed! But I could think of a few fun ways 👀🤔 a fair few wolves in sheep's clothing, possibly!

Who in the heck are these people?? XD I mean, I vaguely remember what was going on with the stitched up girl and the laughing guy, but no clue what their names are! Just there in my tiny sketchbook hanging out!

Silhouette; unfinished pencil drawing

Ah yes, the creepy art part of my life 😂👏🏻

Silhouette is a character that I still feel will be a part of Fate's Game and the other characters, but I definitely need to figure some things out! She may not get an insect redesign and that has a purpose 👀

She very much is on the side of the villains and may even be connected to the big bad itself?? 👁 only time will tell!

She's also where a character called Nina (tentative new name being "Rithiad"; unsure if that's hard to read/say) comes from! Nina is the disguised form Silhouette takes, but since Silhouette is detached from her own soul but is still able to carry it with her to fool people, this unknowingly creates a problem for her.

You see, as long as a Soul is still functioning, it will create/generate a spirit to pilot it. So Nina is the new Spirit from Silhouette's soul!

So lots of interesting shenanigans going on there 👀

So far, Nina is/was Eidal's childhood friend that eventually died in some tragedy, but that needs some heavy revision. But the actual Nina being close with Eidal is important to me, so I'll figure it out yet!

"Halo" (now completely redesigned to be Kana) on the bottom, Mikovah on the left, and Alanna on the right

The whole thing with these 3 is they're all childhood friends of Eidal, and they're each in love with/have a massive crush on them XD

But "Halo" seemed to actually get reciprocated feelings back, so the other two are extremely jealous and would bully him often 😅

Drafaid | She/Her

Got around to drawing a bunch yesterday and couldn't sleep before I tried to draw her some more!

Drafaid is one of many characters that needs a hard look over when it comes to updating her designs with the current way Zeralith has become, but this is what I'm thinkin for her so far!

Here's some of my old art of her from many years ago! I've taken the short hair of her disguised form and the wavy feel of her demon form and combined them in the art up above, which I'm really loving so far 💜

There'll be more to come as I go over her new place in my story, but I'm very excited over what I've come up with so far!

An excerpt from my notes app the other day

This started out as a silly fun "What if" because of Tomodachi Life. No seriously 😂😅

Eidal and Vena were supposed to get together in that game, but Eidal ended up with someone else and was madly in love with them so I decided "Ugh fine, then I guess... Vena and Mae" (cuz Kana wasn't added at the time) and bro... Vena and Mae being so cute and lovey with each other had me go "Haha wonder what that'd actually be like with the actual characters"

...... and I absolutely love it???? All four work really well in my mind??? I'm????

Eidal × Vena × Kana was already gonna be my goal, but adding Mae??? Further adds some angst, wholesomeness, fun shenanigans, and so much more I can't 😭👏🏻💕✨️💜

Eidal and Vena are the types to have things bottled up at the beginning of the story. Each for different reasons, but they're both quite reserved, though Vena even more than Eidal at first. Eidal starts falling for Vena first, but both get feelings for the other over time but just refuse to say anything until WAY later because they both believe there's no way the other feels the same (despite both having access to abilities that let's them see how someone is feeling)

They're absolute blushing dorks about it and Tilo watches the whole time like 😑 just wanting them to spit it out already because jeez it's awkward

Vena and Eidal are also incapable of sleeping (literally), so most nights are spent relaxing in each other's presence if they each haven't gotten stuck with either Mae or Kana falling asleep on them/their laps

Vena and Mae both bond over feeling immense guilt in the parts they've each played in the plot, and both help each other heal over time. Each starting out believing they don't deserve love or even friends but assuring each other that they absolutely do

They're very sweet and gentle with each other but still have fun joking around eventually

Kana and Mae are both mischievous shits together and Mae enjoys helping Kana with some of the crazier inventions but also the general ones. They're both the types to talk about techy stuff and a lot of it goes over Eidal and Vena's heads. Kana and Mae also ground each other really well

Eidal and Mae start off as mainly friends or queer platonic, but get a lot closer as time goes on and trust each other completely even before a relationship is established with them and the others. Even after finding out Mae's involvement with some big events/characters, Eidal doesn't care and knows she was forced into her role

I may or may not have a random scene in my head where Eidal is dying in Mae's arms but assures her nobody hates her for what she's done and says that they trust her no matter what lifetime they're in

Once Eidal let's loose later on and feels more comfortable being a bit more carefree and open they are just as chaotic as Kana and Mae some days. Vena loves them each dearly but it's that meme of the person struggling to hold the leashes of 2 other people but also add Mae now

Kana and Vena both bond over having shitty divine parents and what that was like growing up. Vena with a parent that leaned into the whole "I made you so you listen to me I'm all powerful no I'd never make a mistake ever you're just a bad kid" and Kana's parent being very overbearing and affectionate but also high energy and messed up and possibly telling Kana she may have to take them (the Gods) all out some day. No pressure. These two like to have long calm talks and often can go well into the night until Kana drifts off to sleep

Kana and Eidal having grown up together and Kana telling the others how messed up Eidal's family is and the others immediately being ready to throw down upon visiting. While Eidal is also a Godling, they've never met their divine parent but Kana assures them that's for the better and they are inclined to agree. These two mesh really well and bonded over childhood

Anyways thank you if you read this far! Kinda just dumping my thoughts here but I've been having so much fun thinking of this group!

Kanaline | She/Her

One of Eidal's childhood friends, Kana!

Kana has gone through a LOT of changes and redesign over the years, in fact she originally was a guy named Halo. Oof that was from the grade 7 days... 😅

I've changed her up and still have yet to fully solidify her design overall, but she is a part of the Bre'wir race, which are tarantula scorpion people!

Kana herself is really into developing inventions and technology, as she wants to be able to make things that benefit people whether they have magic or not, as well as just inventions for overall convenience. While magic is something everyone is capable of, there are those who cannot use magic at all (a very rare case), and Kana believes not developing ways of life that can function even without magic is a horrible mistake

Plus, she just loves to make things!

Here's my main OC for Fate's Game, Eidal!

They've certainly changed a whole lot over the years, but I've loved playing around with their design and story since like 7th grade!

Definitely started off as a self insert/sona of sorts, but now here we are!

Eidal just wants to explore the world and be with friends who genuinely care about them. But seems they have a job to do before they can relax....

Vena | They/Them

Venalare! My poor tired recluse!

Vena went from a throwaway random character I made in art class one day to a whole character in my main story, Fate's Game!

They and Eidal meet up near the beginning of the story, and eventually become really close with one another over time 💜

Vena just wants to hide away and be forgotten; living a peaceful solitary life away from their troubles. But that all changes when some demon winds up in the Forgotten Realms and gives them hope...

One of my OCs for Fate's Game, Mae! This is Juni's twin sister!

She's a Dy'nol, a race of rabbit beetle people! I still need to play around with her design as well Dy'nol in general, but wanted to make something with her in it as she's been on my mind lately!

You ever get so wrapped up drawing a thing that you only really give it a hard look after you say you're done for the day?

Well uh-

Not the worst I've ever done, but I'm definitely just gonna call this the first draft for Williow's Leafling counterpart 😅😂

The general idea for Willow's Leafling counterpart is they're a lot taller somehow, and they'll be wearing a leaf poncho of sorts to hide the damage done to the suit from just before they became a Leafling (were protecting some castaways from creatures but ended up getting fatally wounded in the process)

I also want them to have a tail, just unsure if the tail should be leafy, fluffy/scruffy, or have a mushroom on the end 🤔

But yeah, rough concept so far!
