hang up the heavens。.:☆
Castelia never ceases to amaze Jasmine, and yet she can only tilt her head so far back to soak it all in. “Incredible…” She gazes in awe, the thousands of windows reflecting the sun, creating a grid of scintillation that illuminates the streets below. A slight breeze picks up, cooling the asphalt during the hottest part of the day, her Magnetite making subtle static sounds in response.
“Where to first, Néti?” she calls to the spherical creature, as they pass a group of thugs on the street. She smiles politely towards the younger guys, several of them responding with a string of catcalls. She brushes it off; even for being a simple, small town girl, Jasmine fares relatively well in a city setting, her doe-eyes consistently people-watching, a sponge for unfamiliar cultures.
Plus, need there be intervention, she can always rely on her Steelix, Stahlos, to sort out any unwanted attention. Should it come to that.

With an unexpected day off and attempts to find lodging. Kahi found herself in Castelia. While she had no destination, she felt a push and pull towards the city. She wouldn’t be the first to admit that she was intrigued, many travelers that she passed by displayed familiar expressions upon arriving.
Averting her attention away from the skyscrapers, Kahi continued strolling at a leisurely pace until she stumbled upon something of interest. Almost immediately, Kahi stopped and was met with the name of “Studio Castelia”. Huh. She couldn’t recall the last time she entered a gallery and spent time with art.
Too much sage?
👀 + Got a crush?
“No”.
Kahi answers with a blank stare.
👀 + Any regrets in life?
“Many.” Kahi breathed, mentally having flashbacks of everything she had regretted from the past to now. “I am trying to move on from those and if I could correct those mistakes…I would believe me, I would.
👀 + What's the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to you? Were there any witnesses?
Kahi gave a distant smile as she recalls a certain event that happened. “Mhm, the first night at a Pokemon Center, I just started to unpack my belongings. In my defense, right there, plastered on the exterior was a flyer that read “Rest your tired eyes” So I thought I could rest my tired eyes…for the night here. I got many, many …stares.”
Send my muse “👀 + a question” and they’ll have to answer with 100% honesty.
No deleting questions, either!
Sage Advice | Marjorie & Kahi

Many people from the nearby towns gathered to Jubilife City whenever the flea market was open. Being in a central location for the west side of Sinnoh, customers and merchants found it to be convenient for buying and selling homemade goods. Among the rows of stalls and tents, there is a small table towards the corner of an alley that boasts different plants for sale. Among them are medicinal herbs, pollinator flowers or colorful pots of plants for the succulent savvy folks. There are even small jars of local honey from Floaroma Town available.
This market was one of those rare times where Marjorie didn’t mind being around so many people and engaging with them. She was happy to answer their questions from the most common to the most trivial. Sharing her passion with others easily helps her forget how exhausting this could be.
It’s not until the crowd begins to thin out when Marjorie takes an opportunity to sit down for a moment and let herself rest.
“Ahh, I can’t believe how much we’ve sold already, Chervil.” She comments with a satisfied sigh. The Leafeon gives her nothing more than a swish of his tail in response, finding the shade underneath the table a great place to take a nap instead of minding the booth with her. Not that she really needed the extra help.
Her short break is soon interrupted when another customer comes into the booth, perusing the leftover merchandise she had before the crowd came through. Marjorie quickly stands up from her seat, brushing her market apron and casts a smile to the girl that walked in.
“Maybe help you with anything?”
Situated on the corner of her rectangular box is a decorative bowl that housed her sage and lighter. When the current client started to gather their belonging, Kahi shuffled her cards quietly, waiting for them to leave. Once they left, Kahi set down the Tarot cards and began to lit the bundle of sage and swirl it around her vicinity. Closing her eyes, her arms moved slowly to ward off the negative energy that had accumulated in the prior reading. Opening her eyes, Kahi distinguished the fire at the tips of the sage and placing it back into the bowl. That was a particularly draining reading. She felt slowed by their energy-almost like, they’ve taken a tremendous amount of it when the cards revealed itself, which unfortunately happens. Kahi knew that this was part of being a reader.
Gathering her own belongings, her attention drifted towards the sage that sat on the decorative bowl after it extinguished the remaining negative energy. Kahi made a mental note to purchase more sage soon. When everything is gathered back to their respective place, she went on her way to inquire for where to find sage.
A few questions later, she managed- getting lost just a few times- stumbled into a market. Never having been in this environment, Kahi was ecstatic to see what she can find. Her eyes darted around, savoring the lively scenery in front of her. Her attention was caught on the Fruit stall, heading towards it, Kahi purchased a bowl of fruit for later. The environment caught her off guard and while she splurged a little more than she intended, Kahi reasoned that it was for her occupation to assure herself.
Just when she entered into another stall, she was immediately greeted. With a nod, Kahi knew that she would like to purchase some sage. “Yes, I would like to purchase some dried sage if you have them in stock?”
Logical & Sensitive
limbox-ofthestar:
She heard him. He was loud. His insensitive comment was unneeded. Kahi placed the tarot card back into the deck, audibly thanking the cards for the answer earlier. Closing her brown optics, Kahi took a few deep breaths. Once she felt calm and choosing not to react- she knew better than to irritate a fruitless discussion on whether or not tarot is a hoax. Kahi wasn’t responsible for changing his perceptive.
Instead, she turned and gave him a smile. Coincidentally it was when the wind started to pick up and lifted her raven tresses across her features. To an outsider, Kahi looked…sinister. The way her hair covered her expression, a passerby wouldn’t have gotten any details of how she was feeling. When the wind subsided, Kahi blinked and traced her thoughts back to the earlier card.

“Did she just thank that card?” Quentin said, turning towards Fermata. “I mean, does she know it’s just paper? It’s not like the thing can hear her.” He continued, chuckling at his own comment.
Fermata gave his trainer a stern look as if the Pokemon was scolding Quentin’s for his comments. The boy leaned back, a little surprised at suddenly being on the receiving end of the Lucario’s glare.
“Alright, alright! I’ll apologize. Geez, just get off my back.” He responded, lifting his hands up. One of the main pillars of Quentin’s philosophy, both as a person and as a scientist, was not to judge too quickly. He preferred to maintain a level mind and learn all the details about a situation…then he would judge.
Quentin slowly wandered toward the tarot reading girl, occasionally looking back at his Pokemon who just kept glaring.
“Hey…” Quentin mumbled quietly, getting a little closer. “Listen, I’m sorry about what I said. It was kind of rude of me. I’m just not too fond of made up, superstitious nonsense…but I shouldn’t have said what I did. At least not so loud.” he finished his half-assed apology, looking towards Fermata for approval, but was met with the same glare as before.
Lifting her hand, she fixed her hair after being tousled by the wind. She made a mental note to return to the Pokemon Center and refresh herself before setting up shop. Despite this sudden encounter to be time-consuming, Kahi was a little too curious about what he had to say.
Even if his comments were blunt and insensitive, she shrugged. “That’s alright. Tarot is a taboo subject around any parts of town...” She trailed off, not prolonging her thoughts aloud. Kahi just met him, so she isn’t too trustful. Her guard is still a barrier between them until she realizes she can trust.
Tarot; the secrets and the art.

Kahi lifted her hand to conceal a burst of laughter that threatened to spill. The Librarian was adorable! Clearly, she had frightened her and needed to immediately apologize, but Kahi didn’t even bother to hide her amusement- it was probably the funniest reaction she had seen today. A sudden memory occupied her thoughts; it was at the PKMN Center, where Nurse Joy had heal her own Blissey because she had a small mix up. Another laughter spilled from her lips at that moment. Once the had scene settled down and Kahi apologized, she answered the Librarian’s question.

….Was she laughing at her?
Mimi looked back at the amused lady with her eyebrows furrowed. Her face was slightly red from embarrassment but like always Mimi quickly regained her composure and set her book to the side.
This wouldn’t stand.
“The description of cards? Self improvement?” She repeated slowly as her mind raced with the possibilities of any answer. What was this lady looking for? She’d have to get her pride back by answering quickly and efficiently. She was a professional after all.
“Well yes there is a self-improvement section, but it doesn’t really have anything to do with cards. It’s more of a health section honestly. What are you looking for specifically?”
Cards? Self Improvement? She would solve this little mystery.
Catching the expression immediately, Kahi’s own faltered to a look of apologies. Lifting two hands up and waving them wildly, she tried to tell the librarian that she was sorry.
Her next question surprised her. In a normal situation, a busy librarian would just shoo her away by pointing to the section of interest. Knowing the customer is off her back, the librarian would return to playing Solitare on her computer screen until the next patron arrives. Kahi has gotten used to not being questioned about her unique inquiries.
The World?
The World: What makes them feel complete? How do they honor achievements? What are their irrational fears?
“When I feel secure for the week and know that I will be alright. I get myself a nice dinner for the night to treat myself.” Kahi explained, fidgeting with her moon earing. Oh… More fidgeting “Not having shelter, food and the necessary items.”
Judgement
Judgment: How easily do they forgive others? Themselves? How easily do they move forward in life? Are they harsh on themselves with self-criticism? Why?
“I am not one to forgive easily- depending on the situation.” Her shoulders were halfway turned, tilted at an angle. Her left hand folding into a fist filled with memories of her past. Deep past; ones that she doesn’t want to reveal or confront.
“I try to move on. It is difficult. A process. I am trying..so hard…” Kahi breathes, her voice getting caught. A hiccup starts and she covers her mouth in attempts to stop the tears from overflowing. “I t-try not to be… I try…”
