General Comments: I really need to stop procrastinating ahhhh. The last week, I volunteered at the unifest, sat for a pre-requisite test, finally bought a bed and set it up. I also cleaned my room. Non-academic work mostly. I haven't kept up with my fitness goals as much I'd like to, which is unfortunate but unavoidable.
Since only 2.5 weeks of classes left, I'll try to make the most of it. I'm really nervous tbh, but nothing to do about it but work through it.
17/07/26 || Friday
Lit candle in broad daylight because somehow Europe doesn't understand the concept of please-get-dark-after-5-pm. My last class ended and this might have been the final lecture I ever attended in my life. Wow. I am still unfortunately procrastinating on my work but at least this semester is over.
Finally did Kinesiology. Ticked off main topics which I wasn't sure about.
And from tomorrow, only revision. So I won't be doing much note taking. Or writing.
Keep studying! β¨ππ
Master's thesis work is getting serious these days... I have until late September! Also hanging out with lovely people in my free time <3
Today I've relocated to a branch library with AC to escape the heat. Plans for the rest of the day, let's see how many of these I'll actually get to:
Thesis outline to send to my supervisor
Read texts (1/6)
Database export
Try out apps for measuring inclines
Pick out recipe to bring to a house party tomorrow (going to make olive oil, rosemary and chocolate shortbread from Ella Risbridger's substack)
Buy rice flour and fresh rosemary
Finish book review
Read 50 pages of another book I'm reviewing
Look up when we need to elect delegates for upcoming party conventions
Vote on proposed party statute changes
Data protection e-learning module
Paper recycling
Pay bill for an online purchase
Day 10/43 of productivity!
Productivity tasks:
- 7:10h studying
- went on a walk

Today was all about reviewing, with a focus on Piagetβs stages of cognitive development. I went back through my notes and worked with my flashcards, repeating the key concepts over and over until they finally felt like they truly stuck
β(ΰΉΛΜκ΄ΛΜΰΉ)
Flashcards are turning out to be such an effective way to retain information in the long term. Every review session feels like a little test that shows me what Iβve already mastered and what still needs a bit more work (,,β’α·α΄β’α· ,,)
π§ Thought of the day: reviewing the same topic over and over can feel repetitive, but thatβs exactly what turns surface-level knowledge into genuine understanding. Piaget himself would probably say that learning is a continuous process of building knowledge, and thatβs exactly what Iβm doing today with these stages! (ββΏβ)
β¨ Next goal: keep reviewing and, hopefully, move on to the next topic on my study list.

Finally completed the Exploring Ancient Religion course! It was interesting, and for someone who likes Greek Mythology I had never heard of Amphiaraos before. It was completed after work whilst watching F1 races (repeats, never live), Smosh games and ASMR in Dutch (thinking about learning some Dutch now π€π€)

( β’Μα΄β’Μ )Ω Back to studying after my little Alto Adige trip!
Today I reviewed everything I studied before leaving to see if I actually remembered itβ¦ and thankfully, most of it was still there. Maybe all those hours werenβt for nothing after all. ദΰ΅ΰ΄¦ΰ΄Ώ ΛΝΜκ³ΛΝΜ )β§
Studying in this heat is so difficult, though. My brain feels like itβs melting every few minutesβ¦ (β₯οΉβ₯)
After reviewing, I finally started a new topic: Piagetβs stages of cognitive development. Iβm really excited to get back into my psychology routine.
One page at a time. One concept at a time. Weβll get there. β‘
at the library in the summer <3
visited the second mandatory tutorial session for my literature class, then sought shelter in the psych library as it has an ac, before returning to my beloved humanities library. read 30 pages for tomorrows seminar & wrote the first draft of a short story - still have to type it into an actual document.
8.7.26 β back to being a library regular while I study for next week's exam π
09.07.26 / study update
currently working on learning Norwegian every day this summer. itβs hard to be consistent when I have bad days, but Iβm trying my best. still waiting for my application results.
Slay in studying
14.07.26
Iβm trying to work on an article based on my future thesis. But I lack motivation these days. But I try my best. Today Iβm reading the classiest piece of literature on my research topic (book written in 1895, yeah, Iβm historian after all)
