“WAIT okay-” Han sat up so fast he nearly slipped off the couch, pointing between all of you like he needed confirmation from reality itself. “That was not a dream, right? That actually just happened?” Jeongin laughed immediately, loud and bright, like the tension finally snapped in half. “Nope. That was real. That was VERY real.” Changbin let out a short breath, turning away like he needed a second to process it without being obvious about how soft his expression had gotten. “Yeah… that was real.” Hyunjin just stared at you for a moment longer, then slowly picked up his sketchbook again only to realize his hands were slightly shaking. He exhaled through his nose, almost smiling. “Okay.” he murmured. “Okay, I think I need a minute.” Lee Know clicked his tongue, while rolling his eyes. “You’re all being dramatic.” he said, but his eyes flicked to you again, softer now.
Seungmin, as always, stayed the calm center of the chaos. “Let’s not overwhelm them more than we already have.” he said quietly, but there was something warmer underneath it now. Like he was grounding the room as much as he was grounding you. Felix still hadn’t let go of your hand. His thumb brushed over your knuckles again, slower now like he was finally allowed to do it without fear of crossing a line. His voice came out softer than before. “You said yes…” he repeated, like he needed to hear it again to believe it. “You’re okay?” Chan asked again, quieter this time. When you nodded, he finally exhaled like he’d been holding his breath since the moment you walked in.
Felix gently tugged your hand once. “Do you wanna sit down?” he asked you quietly. “You’ve been standing there forever.” Only then did you realize your legs were a little weak. You finally sat down. And the second you did, the weight in your chest loosened just a little. “Good.” Chan said. “We’ll go step by step.” “Soooo.” Han said casually, too casually, leaning back into the couch like he wasn’t internally spiraling, “Do we like… plan this? Or is it just vibes now?” “Vibes?” Lee Know repeated immediately, deadpan. “That’s your contribution to romance?” “It’s called flexibility.” Han shot back. “It’s called chaos.” Seungmin corrected, which earned a small laugh from you before you could stop it.
Hyunjin hummed softly at that, tapping his pencil against his knee. “Honestly-” he repeated, like he was testing how that felt in his mouth. Then he glanced at you. “That sounds like it might be dangerous for us.” Lee Know snorted. “It definitely is.” “Good.” Han said instantly. “I’m tired of pretending I don’t stare.” “YOU-” Jeongin wheezed, laughing. “Don’t act innocent,” Han pointed at him. “You literally glow when she walks in the room.” “I do NOT” “You do.” Changbin confirmed calmly.
Jeongin froze. “Hyung??” “Okay.” Felix said softly, “So step one worked.” “What step one?” you asked. Felix blinked. Then laughed nervously. “Uhhh Confession survival.” “That was step one?” Hyunjin raised a brow. “We barely survived emotionally.” Lee Know stared at all of them. “I hate this group.” “No you don’t.” you said before you could overthink it. Minho looked at you, then huffed a quiet laugh through his nose. “Yeah.” he admitted. “Unfortunately.” Chan finally spoke. “Okay.” he said. “Then step two… is probably making sure you don’t feel overwhelmed.” Felix immediately nodded. “Yep. That.” Han leaned forward first, resting his elbows on his knees. “Okay but real question.” he said, suddenly serious in a way that didn’t match his face, “How does all of this actually work?”
Jeongin tilted his head. “We’re asking logistics now?” “Yes.” Han said immediately. “Because I refuse to just accidentally become emotionally attached in an unsure environment.” “You’re already attached.” Lee Know muttered. “Rude.” Chan let out a small laugh, but softer. He ran a hand through his hair, thinking. “That’s actually a fair question,” he said. “We should figure out what feels comfortable for everyone and for Y/N.”
Felix squeezed your hand gently. “We don’t want to make anything weird for you.” he said quickly. “Like suddenly everything changes too fast.” Hyunjin nodded slowly. “We can take it in pieces.” Changbin leaned back slightly, arms crossed. “So dates first?” That word landed in the room and suddenly everyone reacted at once. Han’s eyes lit up. “DATES. Okay yes. That’s the fun part.” Lee Know scoffed. “You’re already thinking about food.” “I ALWAYS think about food.” Chan smiled faintly, but he was watching you again. “What kind of dates would you even like?” he asked you gently. “We don’t want to assume.” That made the room quiet again.
You hesitated. “I don’t know.” you admitted honestly. “I’ve never really had anything like this.” Hyunjin’s expression gentled. “Then we do simple things.” Han snapped his fingers. “Arcade.” Jeongin immediately: “YES.” Lee Know: “No.” Han: “WHY” Lee Know: “Because you’d turn it into a competition and scream.” “I would NOT scream!” “You would absolutely scream.” Changbin said. Han paused. “…Okay maybe a little.”
You laughed again. Chan stepped in gently, steering it back. “Arcade is good.” he said. “But also quieter things.” He glanced at you. “Like cafes. Late-night walks. Grocery runs even.” That last one made you blink. “Grocery runs?” Felix lit up immediately. “Grocery runs are actually amazing,” he said seriously. “Like picking snacks together is bonding.”
(honestly i love grocery runs with friends, feels so nice)
Hyunjin nodded like it was deep philosophy. “It’s very intimate.” “It is NOT intimate.” Lee Know said flatly. “It is absolutely intimate.” Han argued. Seungmin sighed. “You’re all weird.” Changbin tapped his fingers lightly. “And sleepovers?” he added, like he was testing the word carefully. Felix blinked. “Like… all of us?” Han immediately sat up. “Wait okay hold on I support this idea fully.” Lee Know groaned. “Of course you do.” Your voice came out quieter than you expected. “So like a first date would just be… normal?” Chan smiled softly. “Whatever normal means to you.” Minho added gently, “We’ll probably ruin normal a little bit.” “Okay.” you said softly. “Then I think I’d like that.”
“Okay but wait” Jeongin said, pointing vaguely between everyone, “Are we doing like group dates all the time? Because I’m just saying, that sounds fun, but also kinda chaotic.” Lee Know didn’t even look up. “It would be chaos.” “It would be FUN chaos.” Han corrected. Chan let out a quiet breath, thinking. “No.” he said gently. “We don’t have to do everything together.” Felix blinked. “We don’t?” Chan shook his head slowly. “We shouldn’t force it. It might… overwhelm you.” “You’re not dating a group as one unit,” he continued carefully. “You’re dating people. Individually too.” Han frowned. “But we are a group.” “Emotionally, yes.” Seungmin said. “Logistically no.” “Oh.” Felix murmured. “So like sometimes together, sometimes alone?” Chan nodded. “Exactly.” Hyunjin leaned back slightly, processing. “That actually makes sense.” he said quietly. Then he glanced at you. “Is that okay for you?”
“I think yeah.” you said slowly. “It actually feels less scary that way.” Lee Know gave a small nod. “Good. Because I’m not sharing every emotional moment with Han screaming next to me.” “I WASN’T GOING TO SCREAM” “You screamed five minutes ago,” Jeongin reminded him. Han opened his mouth, then closed it. “…That one might’ve been me.” Felix smiled a little, quieter now. “So we can still have group time.” he said, “But also individual time?” Chan nodded. “Yes. That way it doesn’t feel like pressure. Or like you have to split yourself evenly.” Changbin crossed his arms lightly. “So scheduling matters then.” Han groaned immediately. “We’re making a schedule??” Felix shook his head quickly. “We can just ask. Like normal people.”
Chan looked at you again. “We’ll figure out what feels right for you.” he said. “If you want alone time with one person, that’s okay. If you want group days, that’s okay too. You don’t have to manage all of us at once.” That phrasing made your stomach flutter.

The studio lights are dim and it’s past midnight again. Your heels are kicked off near the couch, lyric sheets scattered across the table and Changbin is sitting in his chair, elbows on his knees, watching you through the glass booth.
“You’re holding back.” he says through the 'talkback' microphone. (I think that's what it's called, i researched it and its the only thing that came back, i'll link a photo down below if u know what it's called like pls let me know🙏) You narrow your eyes at him “I’m not.” He leans back slowly “You are.” You step out of the booth, pushing the door open. “I literally hit every note.”, “I didn’t say you missed them.” That makes you pause. “You hit them.” he continues quietly. “But you didn’t feel them.” You cross your arms in defensive. “It’s just a pre-release track.” “And?” “Aaand it doesn’t need to be dramatic.” His jaw clenches slightly “Every song needs to mean something.”
You glare at him and he glares back. And suddenly it’s not just about the song, you’ve both been exhausted. Schedules nonstop, interviews, brand events, practice, recording. You sigh exhausted and he softens immediately. “Hey.” he says quietly as the producer voice disappears, he steps closer, hands sliding to your waist automatically like they’ve done a hundred times before. “You’re tired angel.” “I’m fine.” He gives you a look, the one that says don’t lie to me, your shoulders slump just slightly. “You don’t have to be strong in here.” he murmurs. “Not with me.”
The studio suddenly feels too small. “I just…” you exhale. “Everyone expects this comeback to top the last one.” “And it will.” “You don’t know that Binnie.” “I do.” “Bin-”“No” he cuts in gently. “You think I’d let you release something average?” You chuckle. “There it is.” he murmurs softly. “That’s the fire I need”, his thumb brushes along your waist, slow and grounding. “You’re not holding back because you can’t do it.” he says. “You’re holding back because you’re scared.” You have a feeling he always sees too much. “I just...don’t want to disappoint anyone.” “You won’t.” “How are you so sure?” His hand slides up your back. Because now he’s not just your producer..he’s your boyfriend. And oh boy he’s done pretending this is just about music.
“Cause I know you.” he says quietly. “And I know how much you care. That’s why it’s good.” He smirks slightly, “But also because I produced it.” You push his chest lightly. “Your ego is insane.” “Deserved.”, you roll your eyes, but you lean into him anyway and he kisses your temple. “You wanna try again?” he asks gently. You sigh deeply before nodding, before you step away, he grabs your wrist lightly. “Wait. When you sing this part.” he says, voice low “Sing it like it’s about me.” Your heart stutters, “Oh?” He leans in slightly, “Because it is.”
You stare at him in silence “You wrote it about us?” He shrugs casually. “It’s good inspiration.” and you’re speechless for half a second. You step back slowly, eyes locked with his. “Fine.” you say quietly. “One more take Binnie.” You go back into the booth, headphones on. He sits down, trying to look professional again.
This time you don’t hold back. You sing like it’s 2AM and the only person in the world who matters is sitting behind that glass watching you. You sing like the lyrics are about the way he grips your waist when you’re stressed, like the way he argues with you about melodies but kisses you right after, like the way he believes in you more than you believe in yourself.
When the song ends, the studio is silent, he doesn’t speak immediately. He just stares at you...then slowly, he presses the talk button. “Yup.” he says softly. “That’s it.” You step out of the booth again. He cups your face gently, “You hear that?” he murmurs. “That’s why you’re dangerous.” You smile slightly. “Dangerous?” “Yeah.”
He leans down, voice brushing against your lips. “Because when you let yourself feel, you ruin me.” he kisses you.The faint hum of the track still playing through the speakers fills the studio, your own voice echoing softly in the background the chorus that was apparently written about him. When he pulls back, it’s only a few centimeters between u two. His thumb is still resting along your jaw. “You did that on purpose.” you purr. “Did what?” “Made me emotional so I’d sing better.” A small smirk tugs at his mouth. “I would never manipulate my artist.” “Oh? Your artist?” “My favorite one.” You roll your eyes, but your hands slide up his chest anyway, fingers curling lightly into the fabric of his hoodie. “You’re impossible.” “And yet,” he murmurs, leaning in slightly again, “you’re still herebaby.”

- Your eyes widen, “There’s more?”
- He gums as he turns his phone around to show you, “A whole album. You didn’t think my love for you could be confined to one song did you?”

L.MHO
- Dinner and a quiet night in is an ideal date for the both of you

- The two of you had never been gift givers, preferring quality time with one another where you could find it
- That evening the two of you dressed in your best and you couldn’t help but laugh as a bit of stray pasta sauce made its way onto his shirt—making him grumble

- As soon as you realized it was doused in his scent, you held it close allowing the familiar scent to lull you to sleep that night
H.HJ
- He would go all out for valentine’s day
- You’d wake up to poems about you posted throughout your apartment, each one filling your eyes with happy tears and your heart with so much love you feel like you could burst

- He’d set up a little date later that day in the park; freshly cut fruits and the smell of paint in the air as the two of you painted one another
- You’d shyly show him your work, a little embarrassed but his eyes would light up—loving words falling from his lips as he’d praise you
- Of course you loved his; everything so unique from the strokes to the color palette—it was easier to see your beauty through Hyunjin’s eye

hi, friend! i’m so glad to see that you worked out posting part 3! i GASPED at seeing the notification this morning when i woke up. it was great!! :)
HI LOVE YES IT FINALLY WORKED IM GONNA MAKE IT UP TO ALL OF YOU AGAIN SO SORRY FOR THE WAIT. I'M SO GLAD PEOPLE LIKE MY WRITING OMG IT ALWAYS MOTIVATES ME TO WRITE AGAIN ASAP 😭🙏🙏
The moment you pushed open the door to Felix’s apartment, something felt different. It wasn’t the smell of takeout or the faint hum of music. It wasn’t even the usual chaos that greeted you like a second home. It was in the way the room itself seemed to notice you, and somehow hold its breath. You froze mid-step, shoes in hand, suddenly hyper-aware of every movement around you. The apartment was lively as always, but…smaller somehow.
Somehow your presence seemed to stretch and fill the space in a way you weren’t expecting. Felix’s voice came first. “You’re here! Perfect timing!” Your chest tightened. His smile was bright, but there was a nervous edge you hadn’t seen ever before.
Your eyes started scanning the room. Chan. He was leaning against the kitchen counter, arms crossed lightly. Usually, he would have smiled immediately, maybe teased you for being late. But now he was still, eyes following your movements, and his gaze wasn’t playful. It was sharp.
Hyunjin, sprawled on the floor with his sketchbook, didn’t even try to hide it. Pencil hovering midair, he glanced up, then quickly down, then up again. Every line on his page seemed to pause in anticipation. The way his eyes lingered on yours longer then usual, made your stomach flutter.
Lee Know leaned casually against the wall near the window, arms crossed. At first, he looked like he wasn’t paying attention, but your instinct caught him. The slight stiffness of his shoulders, the way his gaze followed your every step, subtle enough that anyone else wouldn’t notice, it made your heart skip.
Han, sprawled lazily across the couch, grinned when he saw you. “Hey!” he called. But even his loud, careless voice had a sharp edge tonight. He watched reactions instead of you, eyes flicking to the others, observing how they were reacting to you.
Seungmin sat upright in his usual chair, calm and composed as always, but now every tilt of his head, every subtle adjustment in posture, felt like he was quietly cataloging every detail about you.
Changbin hovered near the kitchen, not saying anything, just making sure your entrance was noticed. Every time you glanced in his direction, he smiled faintly, like he had something unspoken he desperately wanted to say, but couldn’t yet.
Jeongin grinned, bright and cheerful, imitating a gesture you had made seconds before. His eyes sparkled with amusement, but there was slight nervousness behind them.
And then there was Felix. Standing awkwardly near the table, fidgeting with a pen, shifting from foot to foot. His smile was bright, sure, but if anyone looked too long they could've seen the way he was constantly fidgeting.
You swallowed hard, suddenly aware of how heavy the atmosphere felt. You could practically feel the tension in the air, a slow, careful, unspoken alignment of attention. Every glance, every subtle movement, every half-smile in their direction was layered with meaning, and your chest beat faster as realization started to creep in. And for the first time, you understood what Felix had been trying to warn you about, before you even knew you needed a warning.
You took a cautious step inside. “Uh…” you murmured. “Hi?” Chan’s gaze softened for a fraction, and he leaned just slightly forward, like he was testing whether you were steady. Hyunjin’s pencil scratched against the page again. Lee Know shifted imperceptibly closer, making room for you without a word. Felix exhaled through his nose, the tension in his shoulders relaxing just slightly as he realized you’d entered. “Hey Sunny!” he said again, quieter this time, but steadier. “Glad you’re here.”
The apartment didn’t feel like a room full of people anymore. It felt like it had shrunk, focused, coiled around you, eight hearts bending slowly, carefully, toward your center. And your stomach did a flip. Because now, finally, you were starting to notice them noticing you.
Felix cleared his throat, the sound breaking the tension like a soft crack of lightning. “Sunny…” His voice was low, hesitant, almost shy. “I… I think we need to talk.” You blinked, heart fluttering. “Oh?” He shifted, hands brushing over the edge of the table. “I mean… not talk-talk.” he added, rushing to clarify, “but…I can’t…we can’t…I just…” He trailed off, and suddenly the rest of the room seemed to hold its breath.
Chan stepped a little closer to the group, carefully watching Felix without interrupting. “We… we’ve been feeling something,” he said slowly, deliberately. “All of us. And it’s been growing, and we can’t ignore it anymore.” Your stomach flipped again. You weren’t sure if you were hearing right, or imagining the layers of attention threading through the air around you.
Hyunjin leaned forward, pencil hovering midair. “Every time you laugh, every time you frown, every little gesture…it affects me. Us.” Minho smirked, arms crossed, still leaning against the wall. “We’ve all been pretending to be casual. But it’s not casual. Not anymore. Not with you here.” Han flopped dramatically onto the couch, one hand thrown behind his head. “It’s sooo obvious.” he said, voice playful but serious. “We’re…all whipped. And it’s driving us crazyy.”
Changbin stepped slightly closer, adjusting the plate of snacks he’d been holding, though you could tell it was more for composure than need. “We’re really into you.” he said simply, not loudly, but firmly, eyes steady. Jeongin bounced around the room, grinning. “I told you!” he exclaimed, and then caught himself, softening into a laugh. “Okay, maybe not like that but uhm yeah, we all like you. A lot.”
And then Felix, finally gathering the courage, extended his hand toward yours, hovering carefully. “Sunny… we like you. All of us. And we…we can’t hide it anymore.” The room shifted. It wasn’t chaos, exactly. It wasn’t overwhelming.
Chan’s hand brushed yours next, lingering just long enough to ground you. Hyunjin’s gaze softened, following every reaction you made. Lee Know subtly shifted closer, protective yet non-intrusive. Han’s playful grin was tempered with awareness, Seungmin’s steady composure was reassuring, Changbin hovered near with pride, Jeongin’s bouncing movements reflected pure joy. And all the while, Felix’s nervous fingers finally met yours fully, warmth and excitement coursing through both of you.
You swallowed, chest tight, heart racing, the full weight of their devotion washing over you. Eight boys, all gentle, all deliberate, all wholly devoted. And the realization hit you: they were completely, utterly, irrevocably whipped for you.
And for the first time, standing in the middle of their collective attention, you realized…you belonged here. All of you, tangled in this chaos, and you were ready to let it unfold.
Chan’s gaze shifted as he leaned just a fraction closer, careful not to invade your space. “Are you okay?” he asked quietly, voice low, steady, almost protective. “You…seem tense.” “I-I’m fine,” you stammered, but your stomach fluttered at the intensity of his attention. Hyunjin’s sketchbook was forgotten on the floor, his pencil tapping lightly against the page. “We just want to make sure you’re seeing us as we are.” he murmured, not meeting your eyes at first. Then he did, and the softness there made your heart twist. “We can’t hide it anymore. Any of it.”
Felix's breath hitched slightly. “Y/N… we like you. All of us. And… we can’t hide it anymore.” You swallowed again, chest tight. You realized: they weren’t just teasing, flirting, or being affectionate, they were showing you, piece by piece, how much they cared. All of them. Each in their own way. And slowly, carefully, the weight of their devotion began to sink in. Your lips parted, unsure what to say.
Felix’s hand was still holding yours, trembling slightly, but warm. Chan was leaning just a fraction closer, Hyunjin’s pencil forgotten entirely, Lee Know’s posture relaxed but protective, Han’s grin softer, Seungmin’s steady gaze unblinking, Changbin hovering like a silent sentinel, and Jeongin bouncing lightly, eyes sparkling with excitement.
You swallowed, heart racing. “I…” you started, but the words got caught in your throat. Felix’s thumb brushed yours gently, grounding you. “It’s okay.” he whispered, voice low and steady. “Take your time.”
And you did. You looked at them, one by one, noticing everything: the tiny quirks you loved, the subtle gestures you’d already felt, the nervous anticipation threaded through each movement. Eight boys, all patient, waiting for you to make the first move in your own way. “I-I don’t even know what to say.” you admitted softly, voice trembling. “It’s a lot…all of you, caring like this…”
Chan stepped forward a fraction, careful not to crowd you, but close enough that you could feel the warmth of his presence. “Y/N, it’s okay. We don’t need words. We just…” He paused, then smiled softly, “We just want you to know how we feel. And we want you to feel safe with us.” Hyunjin added, voice quiet but firm, “We don’t expect you to jump in all at once. We hope you’ll let yourself be here with us.”
Lee Know leaned casually against the wall, arms crossed, smirk tugging at his lips. “We’re not going anywhere. And neither are we going to pressure you. Just be with us.”
Felix’s thumb traced patterns on your hand, heart practically echoing through his touch. “Sunny…if you’re willing…if you feel the same way, even a little, then we’ll follow you, always.”
Your chest tightened so much it hurt. You swallowed again, looked at each of them, and felt it every heartbeat, every subtle movement, every small gesture of care. Eight hearts had been waiting for you to realize it, and now… it was your turn. “I…” you began, breath shaky. You let your fingers thread through theirs, feeling the warmth, the pulse, the presence of each boy surrounding you. “I-I want to be with all of you.”
A collective exhale rippled through the room. Chan’s lips curved into a relieved smile. Felix’s grin practically lit up the room, Hyunjin’s shoulders relaxed, Lee Know’s smirk softened into something fond, Han flopped dramatically with a shout of victory, Seungmin nodded once, approvingly calm, Changbin’s proud smile beamed, and Jeongin practically vibrated with joy.
You exhaled, leaning back slightly, letting the weight of it all settle around you. “Okay...” you whispered, barely audible over the soft hum of contentment. “I’m all yours.”
And in that moment, the apartment felt impossibly alive, wrapped in laughter, gentle chaos, and devotion. Eight hearts, one more, finally in harmony with your own.
