I’m pretty convinced that Gina is crying in next week’s episode bc Ricky learned about her previous scheme to get the part of Gabriella (EJ might let it slip on purpose or by accident) and Ricky gets upset with her and thinks that everything that happened between them was apart of that plot

It just kinda seems like everyone’s expecting it, though she might be crying because her family is going to move again after the play or maybe someone said something really mean to or about her at the party

I just hope that, if a fissure between Ricky and Gina does happen, that it doesn’t last long, because I don’t think Gina deserves to lose the only real friend she’s made at this school. It would really feel like punishing her character for growing close to Ricky like he “belongs to Nini” and can’t be close to or start developing feelings for another girl.

It would be really nice if, while Gina’s crying at home, Ricky stops by to talk to her/check on her depending on why she’s crying, and they have a heart-to-hesrt/work things out, but I don’t wanna get my hopes up for that......even if it would remind me of the Troy/Gabriella balcony scenes........

can we talk about how when every one left rehearsals, Ricky could barely make eye contact with Gina when talking about the possibility of the show ending? And when he was singing When There Was Me and You, he wasn’t struggling anymore and was looking her straight in the eyes because she helped him get his confidence back?
