Judy | 1950 Wrap Dress

A few days ago I randomly selected “1950, female, adult” in my custom content selection contest.  I decided to make Judy based on this dress from the 1950s Christmas Sears catalog. I think this dress represents a nice transition from the 1940s post-war dresses to the fuller skirts often associated with the 1950s.

Pink Vice Motel

A retro Miami inspired motel with a reception, bar/ restaurant, 9 rooms and a pool.

40x30 lot, Pool, Oasis Springs

It’s placed on the lot Dusty Turf and I’ve set it as a pool, but you can set is as a bar or a restaurant as well. I only playtested it as a pool and a bar tho. Sorry for the bad pic of the front but there were trees in the way.

Margaret Hair Set

I made a bun and wanted to put it on everything so here are 4 mid Victorian hairs featuring said bun.

There are 2 overlays for the ribbons in the Margot hair using the palettes of 2 of my favourite Victorian evening gowns. One is from @vintagesimstress‘s 1841 gown and the second is @simstomaggie‘s Holiday palette used in several of her dresses. They are independent from each other so you can download either one or both. I’ve also included the plain texture in the zip folder so that you can recolour the ribbons if you want to.

I’m going to tentatively say that the hairs are hat compatible but not perfectly because its hard and I’m still learning all this stuff 😅 They do have all lods, thumbnails and are compatible with the legacy edition

1850s Hairs

These took a lot of work but they’re finally ready! I actually managed to recolour the textures myself which I’m incredibly proud of, despite it taking forever. 

There’s a regular style, the larger padded wig style, and then another with some braids that I liked from several fashion plates.
