This man of mine, he is definitely in this marriage for better or worse. Sometimes relationships bring disappointment. Poor guy was expecting a special Anniversary lunch at Capital Grille (thank you boss for that holiday gift card 2 yrs ago). Me, my body time-clock, is on the midnight shift & I went to sleep at 6a on 2/14/19. He went to Men's breakfast/Bible Study & came home around 1130a to me sleeping so soundly I couldnt finish a sentence without drifting back to sleep. I slept thru our 2p reservation, woke up at 6p & found him downstairs watching TV. After several more fiascos, we got into Capital Grille at 1040p. The food was excellent. The service was fabulous and we got a complimentary dessert. Best part of all, we were the last ones there, besides staff... just my kind of crowd. I've never had such fine dining!! He had Lobster & Crab Cakes app, NY strip steak w/ ginger rice. I tried mozzarella wrapped in prosciutto w/tomatoes app, a salad w/dried cherries, walnuts & (blue cheese?) w/raspberry vinaigrette & a ribeye. For dessert, chocolate brownie cake w/brownie ganache, vanilla ice cream & cherries soaked in port wine. Yum! I think sweetie Petey enjoyed dinner too. Not such a bad ending to a disappointing day. Left work📥🌎 around 5p Wed to pick up Pete at dialysis. He was not himself last night🌛 and quite honestly, I thought whatever infection ⚠️ he had Jan 2018 that the hospital 🏥 couldn't Dx🔬 in over a week's stay🗓 was back⁉️ I got him to emergency 🏥 at 615p with 102° fever, chills, shaking, achy, weak, twitching, talking incoherently, etc. (He talked all thru last night & when I left Wed morn🌬❄ , his fever was 98.8°). I am relieved 🙃 because, even though his system is compromised, and he may or may not be discharged (if he ever gets a bed🛌), he DID get a Dx "Influenza A" 📌(so much for that flu shot 💉 working). Dr.👨‍⚕️ said prob got it at hospital 🏥 Sunday when Pete had to come in to deal with 3 hr nose 🤧 bleed & needed a nose plug👃. Dr. said timing ⏱ was right✔. All I gotta say is praise God ⬆️ it's nothing worse!!!👐 Even though Pete probably still feels terrible, he should be feeling better 🔜. Now pray 🙏 I don't get it🆘️. This mask is driving me crazy! Spring clean up of the yard, finally! They left & I got to do more/finish up the work. We trimmed the bushes into sticks (reference to #LivePD #SeanSticksLarkin). Moved the cement drain UNDER the spout, where it actually should be #condoliving. Planted some onion sets. Trying some seeds of Moonflowers. We'll see if they'll grow. Can't wait for some 4 o'clock's to put in front of the basement windows🌿🌾🌱🌺 Natalie was here earlier but had to go to band practice. Katrina says it looks worse than when we started... ha😆!
