I do have a catradora headcannon that at some point they realized the secrets they were keeping from each other still were causing resentment and fear between them so they made it a habit, sometimes before bed, of confessing secrets to each other that they could just hold without judgement and be certain that they still love each other.

sometimes its big stuff like "I dont think i'll ever forgive myself for hurting you, or you for hurting me" but other times it's stuff like "I used to pick my nose when I was a kid" and catra is like "I know, adora, you still do"

quite honestly think i still haven't been able to fully process that when their ship took another big hit, shaking violently like it might just start falling apart as they're hurtling through space, adora's instant and only reaction is clinging to catra until the ship's vibration settles.

When I first read this book, it was a love at first sight. I remember being completely engrossed, so much so that I devoured it in a single day. I was my favourite book of all time for years.

Nowadays, I'm much more aware of its problematic aspects, but I still cherish it. I'm so grateful it exists and continues to inspire amazing artists - among them, the creators of the wonderful TV series that I adore so much.
