Hey guys, I know that I keep making these annoying posts but I’m getting really, really desperate. I had to pay my rent today (November 24th) and I only have £6.52 left of my benefit after paying it and that’s to get me through all of December (Christmas/New Year) and you can’t imagine what kind of struggle that’s going to be for food/bills and I am unable to receive help from anywhere else (local council or food banks)

Hey y'all.

I’m trying to move out of my parents house.

My mom just informed me I have 2 weeks to find another place to live, or I sign another lease with her. Originally I had 2 months but the deadline has crept up, obviously.

My mom has been emotionally, physically and racially abusive to me my whole life. I can’t take it anymore. I was recently baker acted after a suicide attempt and I made some real progress in the hospital, but as soon as I was released back into this abusive environment, my mental health has plummeted. I feel worse than when I did before I went to the hospital.

I cannot take another year with my mother. I cannot survive it. I’m barely surviving now.

I have a good job and make decent money, however, I was completely unprepared to move, let alone in 2 weeks. I don’t get paid again till the day I have to move out….so I really need some help right now.

I need money for first month / last months rent , and a deposit.

I have good news! ….I GOT APPROVED FOR AN ADORABLE STUDIO!

I can move in October 28th…if I pay the deposit, first and last months rent. I also need to put down a security deposit for electric and water.

I have enough to pay the deposit the first months (prorated) rent, but I still need last months, and the utilities deposits ! Coming out to a total for $526!!!!!! I’m adjusting the fundraiser goal accordingly.

I am so close to escaping this hell hole.

I’ve been under so much emotional stress (as you may or may not have seen from my posts) that i had a sit down with my boss and told her what was up. she was very understanding and suggested i take a brief leave of absence until i feel well enough to return. this past month has been rough, I’ve relived trauma and been on the brink of suicide, so much so that it affects my work and it was making things very hard for me. so, for some weeks while i recuperate and get (better) professional help i won’t have an income. i still need to pay for medicine, appointments, phone bills, etc but with some hope i can find a life coach who can help me with finding a therapist, a new place to live, a better job, the list goes on. these next few weeks will be especially hard on me and i cant guarantee i wont have to be admitted somewhere if things dont get better. Im really nervous but for a very long time i have not been addressing my own needs. This fundraiser is still for my boyfriend and i to help stabilize us but i am so completely burnt out that i need to get well. thank you for your help so far, please boost this updated version of this post!

Dave just called me and told me he attempted suicide last night. this is directly after a tirade of abuse from his mom, which did not end after she found him and took him to the hospital. she continued to berate and used derogatory words at him, and even went as far as to call him the “sperm donor” of his own son. His mom committed fraud and he lost all of his SNAP benefits as well as his health insurance. she did this despite knowing he’s severely disabled and going without his medicine can and will kill him, but still manages to do it anyway and to speak down to him moments after he woke up after ODing. he obviously does not have a place to stay after this, and im going to see if it’s possible to take legal action against her, though I’m not counting on it happening. Dave’s mom is on a whole other level of cruel and has done this many times. he’s been talking about the verbal abuse he receives from her since we’ve met, and I’ve seen first-hand how she gets. I don’t know what else to say other than i want for him to be able to stay somewhere once he’s out of the crisis center, because after that he’s on the street. if there’s anyone who can help us, be it with legal advice or just securing a place for him once he gets out, please do so. this has gone on far too long and this woman’s tyrannical nature has pushed him to hospitalization more than once. it’s incredibly terrifying to wake up to a suicide note, and im wondering what can be done for him. please help me. i really am begging, this can’t happen again and im afraid next time he won’t be found. im scared.

update: Dave is recovering. He’s gonna be transported to a clinic once he’s stabilized. however he won’t have anywhere to go once he’s out. I’m arranging for him to stay somewhere short term but im praying a social worker will be able to find him some long term housing.

Dave’s out of the hospital. He’s still got no place to go that we know of, and he still has to work out the shit w DSS. he also got a broken hand (this is his second time breaking it and needs to see an orthopedist ASAP. its a fracture but because of how fucked up his hand was before he’s in a lot of pain.
