Aroace culture is being so, SO tired of people gloating about their ship being canon by rubbing in that "those idiots who called them just friends are WRONG AND STUPID" because all that shit you're rubbing in our faces COULD GENUINELY be friendship! It just isn't THIS time. There's nothing inherently romantic about having close friendships, for the love of all that is good in the world please just STOP.

i already am making one!! (well not really making as much as im fantasing about making oneXD)
something i included would be them going though tremendous character development without ever meeting any other character. like yalls ocs need someone else to tell them "hey stop doing that bad thing, do good thing>:<" but my bitch did it all by themselves
I really like the idea of them being able to grow as a person without needing anyone. As you said, so many stories focus on the character needing other people around to be able to change. However in reality, it's usually up to the individual if they change or not, regardless of whoever is around them.

Aplatonic describes someone who does not experience platonic attraction.
The colours are the inverse of yellow, brown and pink (typical colours used to represent friendship) with the white stripe signifying that an aplatonic person can still be allosexual/alloromantic (well, it’s actually cream because it’s slightly more aesthetically pleasing :P)

How/what do you feel about your pets? In your pinned you say you don't experience attraction or love, but you also seem to have significant emotional attachment to your pets. Is what you feel towards your pets not love, does your lack of love only apply in context of people, or something else?

It's a bit complicated. I don't love them, it's more that they're my responsibility and they're pretty chill, so I like being around them and caring for them.
I've been trying to come up with a comparison for how I feel, but I can't think of anything. It's just a general want for them to be happy and healthy.
