Snotlout as a dad and a husband.

(And oc x canon)

His clothes would definitely be simpler, because let’s be honest... If this man had a wife by then, there’s no way she’d let him walk around looking like that. (I'm talking about the over the top outfit he had in the third movie.)

But beyond the look, imagine a more mature Snotlout during httyd 3, one who’s grown into real emotional intelligence. He still brags (obviously), but not because he needs validation. He does it because he truly believes in himself now. He’s confident, not performative.

If he’d had the love he always craved (someone who genuinely saw and loved him for who he is) he wouldn’t have to prove himself anymore. That kind of love would’ve grounded him and let him shine as the person he always had the potential to be.

That and... I'm a sucker for loving, happy families.

(And imagine the comedic scenes you could get out of this... Such as: "Why is the baby in the raid!?")

Opinion:

The third Httyd movie had incredible animation... But all the character development the riders had built up over the series just… Vanished. That’s honestly why I think the movie sucked.

Hiccup and Astrid get to grow into adulthood, meanwhile, the rest of the riders stay stuck acting like reckless teenagers, purely for comedic effect. And it’s all of them! You can have comic relief characters, sure, but four of them in a group of six!?

The riders deserved better. They had so much potential as a united, mature crew, but the film reduced them to running gags instead of letting them evolve alongside Hiccup.

I noticed that everyone loves the live action Snotman yet most people hate the animated one (or just dislike him) soooooo... Here we are!

And here is a drawing of myself as a viking... Because I have ocs but not self inserts so... Yeh. His name is "Hemlock" because "Noel" (my name) isn't a "Manly viking name"

I'm not a tall guy so... He's not that tall either.

I already draw the animated Snotlout a LOT, so it was about time I drew the live-action one. Besides, I’ve already drawn this dude twice (As Elias Mannix), so… yeah. Cool guy. Very drawable (is that even a word???)

It’s excellent practice for this realistic art style I’ve been trying to perfect.

I think that Snotlout deserves to have a partner that loves him the way he wants to be loved, so Freckles (oc) is exactly that, she adores him!

Old man Snotlout redesign(?

The truth is I always wondered why (in terms of design, and to be honest, in terms of personality as well) he didn't change much from childhood to adulthood...

That and... Well, Spitelout and Stoick are tall, like really tall. Hiccup got taller but Snotlout did not...? Because...? (And I don't know if I'm the only one but I feel like the og design looks disproportionate when he stands beside Hiccup and Astrid for example.)

There's also a bonus drawing with my oc Freckles who I created because I thought having a character like her would be fun and also, I always thought it would be nice if Snotlout eventually had a family of his own :(

Freckles and Stajarna Skynlauss are siblings.

Freckles, the older sister, dreams of studying dragon behavior and becoming the strongest warrior alive.

Stajarna? His ambitions are a little different... He just wants to play matchmaker and find Freckles a boyfriend.

The Witcher ocs, Bartek "The Hound" and Madigan "The Hound's pup." (Silly little drawings)

Bartek is just a hunter, mostly of monsters. He gets rid of them and sells whatever parts can be useful. (He's not a Witcher... Some might mistake him for one.)

He has excellent tracking skills, hence his title “The Hound,” or more specifically, “The Marsh Hound,” as he claims to come from the depths of the marshland.

Bartek found Madigan when Madigan was just a baby! He didn't have the heart to leave the poor thing behind, all alone.

Bartek fights using a silver spear. Madigan carries a dagger (only for emergencies), a wooden spear for training and eventually... A lute.

Honestly, I’ve seen so many incredible OCs here on Tumblr that I had to make my own. He doesn’t have a proper backstory (yet), but I have this idea: he’s not a Witcher, but thanks to his yellow eyes, people tend to think he is... or that he might be part monster.

There’s just a lot of speculation about this silent hunter, who’s actually very sweet to animals and children. He has an adoptive son too. I just haven’t made any drawings of him yet.
