🍁Fall Little ActivitiesPt. 2🍁
Hey babies! I’m back with part two! This post will be on duo activities! Activities that can be done with a CG or friend! Of course you can do solo activities with a partner or partner activities on your own, these are just some starter suggestions!
Carving pumpkins! Find a pumpkin at the store or go pumpkin picking! Be careful with the sharp objects, let your CG do that part if they’re comfortable with it! You can make scary pumpkins or you can make cute pumpkins, all that matters is that you both have fun!
Watch a spooky movie! There’s lotf of kid-friendly spooky movies out there, you just have to find them! For bigger kiddos you might even consider a scary movie, just remember that your CG will be right there with you in case it gets too scary!
Go apple picking! Lots of orcherds open up for apple picking in the fall! You can go and find the bestest apples to take home! You can bake a pie with them or make other sweet treats, or just eat the apples plain!
Go to a corn maze! Try your luck at solving a corn maze! Don’t forget to grab a map though! And don’t worry about getting lost, your CG will be right there with you the whole time! Remember to be careful though, corn stalk leaves are sharp so be sure not to brush up against them!
Go pumpkin picking! Find a pumpkin patch and look for the best pumpkins you can find! You can take them home and carve them, paint them, make a pie, roast some seeds, the sky is the limit!
Attend a fall or harvest festival! These might be more rare now due to our current situation but if you can find one then go out and have some fun together! There’s lots of good food and fun activities at fall festivals!
Go to a trunk or treat! These also might be more scarce now but a trunk or treat is a nice way to get some free candy and see some cool cars! If you don’t know what a trunk or treat is, here’s an example!
Bake some warm treats! Cookies, pie, tarts, cake, bread, all kinds of baked goods are associated with the fall spirit! Find some fun recipies and get to baking! You can even use those apples nad pumpkins you picked too! Just be sure to be careful with the oven, let your CG do that part of they’re comfortable with it!
Make each other costumes! Are you and your CG crafty? If so maybe you can try your hand at making each other costumes, they can even be matching if you want! Costumes don’t have to be big or fancy, a costume can just be a mask or some accessories, don’t be afraid to get creative!
Roast some pumpkin seeds! Remember that pumpkin that you got at the pumpkin patch? Maybe you carved it and now you have a bunch of pumpkin insides that you don’t know what to do with. Well, pick out the seeds, find a yummy recipie, and roast them! Roasted pumpkin seeds can be a yummy treat, especially in the fall!
Go on a hay ride! Whats more festive than a hayride? Getting to take a ride and see all the pretty leaves and maybe even have a nice warm drink! If you’re feeling brave maybe you can even take a spooky hayride!
