Yeah, these are actually really easy behaviors to train… if you have the right lizard. Not all will respond to this kind of training. You couldn’t do this easily with a leopard gecko, because it’s harder to offer treats to small insectivores, for example, but my guess is any bearded dragon could learn these. Well. Sort of. The “wait for it” one… well, let me do the other two first.

The “come here” behavior- notice how she taps her nails and makes quite a lot of noise? It’s like clicker training! If you want to train this behavior in a bearded dragon, tap the ground and make noise near your lizard, then give it something to eat. Keep doing this at different distances and eventually you’ll get recall.

The kisses is also very easy to train. Notice how she kisses first? My guess is she started with a tap on the mouth and when Mochi stuck his tongue out, she gave him a treat. By reinforcing this reflex, she got the trick. He probably isn’t responding to her words in either case- the other stimuli look like much better bridges to trigger the behaviors.

I’d need to see more of the wait for it to break down how to teach it. It kind of looks like the prey’s actually out of his field of vision at first, which could have a lot to do with it. But the other two are quite straightforward!

She uploaded a video on how she did wait! looks like it’s just good ol’ positive reinforcement, months of training, and heavy reliance on tonal cues. she could be saying anything, but it’s her tone of voice that’s important.

If it’s clear they have broken laws (they post/talk about using child porn, admit to things they’ve done with minors, etc), go fill out a form here ( https://tips.fbi.gov ) to make the FBI aware and bring this filth to justice. Every single one. And if there’s no proof of criminal offense, then go on and flag them, at least then they aren’t here to prey on children on the internet.

Hi guys I recently had a run in with a pedophile who was posting child pornography, please don’t call the police there’s not a whole lot they can do in situations of tracking unless it’s in your home state! And they don’t have a department that deals with blogs.

Instead call 1-800-843-5678 or fill out a form for cybertipline.com , they reach out within the same day and deal with these assholes all the time. They will contact you if they need more assistance or if they’ve resolved it! The police department redirected me to the hotline and will do so in every situation unless it’s local. Stay safe!
