They have such a great point and this is one of the many reasons I can't actually stand the x men most days of the week but I wouldn't say Carl is wasted potential he's just got untapped potential like look at the avengers assembled infinity comic or even his issue in the sorcerer supreme.

Like that guy just can't be put down like he literally woke the whole world up knowing it could kill him and he did it anyway and survived and he beat cobweb by faking his own death just to get the guy fried! Like he can do that.

Like from every single thing I've read for him he's probably one of the most unique x men that breaks the mold on what we usually see from the x men comic and probably is the best thing krakoa gave us. (bar is quite on the floor with that one)

Tbh I rather let marvel put him down and let the fans pick him up and make fan comics and content for him than ruin his character especially in this political climate and then pick him up again later when marvel has fresh blood in the writers room and a more creator friendly and reader friendly perspective if you get me.

And when they do pick him up again they better A) make him and omega level mutant because he's powerful and amazing and B) let him join the avengers because that's how we win and see the potential shine!
