My dog Jericho (aka, JJ) was attacked on Saturday afternoon protecting her baby sister Olive from other dogs. We had to wait to take her to the vet and by the time we got her there, she was critical and had to be transferred to an emergency animal hospital.

I'll do pretty much anything for her, but as a freelance writer I do not make much money, and her injuries are pretty extensive. If anyone can help, I would be so grateful.

I can’t do gif’s, but does anyone remember the young man Bernie treated after Arthur’s funeral? The one whose family gathered round hid bedside and keened for him. Well….

If my wishes came true...

It's Bernie's last day. Maybe she's stayed after the explosion to help out, stayed for a month or two. Maybe she stayed just for another week or two, who knows. But it's her last day in Holby.

She's going back home to Serena, and though there's been so much pain in her life these past weeks, the thought of Serena makes her smile.

Bernie and a few others, maybe one of the new people who've joined since Bernie last visited the hospital and some of the old gang (Dom, Fletch, Donna), go to Albie's. For one final drink. For old time's sake.

They enter Albie's chatting happily, even laughing. We see them, but at the front of the camera, blurred, is a glass of red wine.

Serena is there, waiting. She's come to take Bernie home to Spain.

Bernie has learned that there's more to life than big adventures. She understands now why Serena stayed in Holby while Bernie wanted their life to be elsewhere. And Serena... well, she's here, surprising Bernie. A grand gesture.

They've learned how to meet each other half way.

And what if Ric is sat next to Serena. And what if after they finish their drinks, Bernie, Serena and Ric go back to the hospital to say good bye to Henrik before Serena takes Bernie home. And what if, in the entrance, Serena hugs Ric before walking away. Well we end up with this amazing image which is still up in my writing space
