Story of my life honestly
Although I do love the candids I can't lie some people are regularly favourites for doing something silly at my camera.
I really love to when I can get a nice calm shot of camp activities, as fun as it is when people pose for my camera I much prefer getting candids like this.
It was nice to get some pictures of the archers for once, you don't get to see them at every show and I usually miss the demonstration. Pretty bummed out I didn't get a cool picture of an arrow wizzing though.
I've found that re-enactors are much more likely to look down the camera when they know the person taking the photo, and there is sometime a percent chance of sillyness alongside it (Jorvik Viking Festival, York 2024)
