And, spoiler alert, I guess? But I mean, I’ve mentioned before in the comments section about Lorena getting her Matilda moment, so it’s not really that much of a spoiler. Lorena will be getting adopted! (Sorry to everyone who wanted Johnny to be her bio dad. I did consider it for a while, but ultimately, that was never my vision for this story.)
Admittedly, I didn’t consider Lorena having a name change, since that’s not a requirement in the adoption process. But you’re right, Lorena Lawrence and Laura Lawrence is pretty bad lmao.

I stared at her while I munched on a mozzarella stick, less concerned with her well-founded aversion to Sid, and more curious about the way she’d lumped Robby and I together, like she was somehow worried about me as well. "Hey," Sensei snapped at her, "I didn’t allow Lorena to do shit. Kid went behind my back, and then told me about it." "He’s right," I told Shannon solemnly, once I’d swallowed my mouthful of cheesy goodness. "It’s always better to ask for forgiveness than permission."

But suddenly, Kenny was looking at me like he recognized me, tension easing out his shoulders. "Oh, you’re Robby’s sister." I blinked. "Excuse me?" "Um, sorry. I’m Kenny Payne, Shawn’s brother," he explained. "He said Robby could help me, but he also mentioned you." "Right," I said, biting my tongue before I could clear up the misunderstanding, because casually spreading the information that I’d been lying to Robby’s parole officer, pretending to be his sister, and illegally using a fake ID so that I could visit the detention center didn’t exactly sound like a smart idea. Especially when Kenny was still a bit of a wild card.

I see that you said only Bobby and Miguel know for sure that Lorena isn't Johnny's daughter, and I just wanted to ask if you changed the summary snippet so that Johnny told Robby to put his hand down instead of Miguel, I could have sworn it was Miguel, but I'm probably misremembering it 😅😅.
