1) The character “Julie” isn’t named Julie. It’s JULIA.

2) I don’t care. might i remind u that 1984 is a BOOK. it is FICTITIOUS. winston never even acted on those thoughts brobro🫩🫩 PEOPLE literally have fos that are full blow serial killers, which is fine. go ahead, idc. BUTWhy is my semi-niche husband getting the hate.

3) i’m glad u don’t like him. he’s for me and not you

4) julia and winston aren’t to be shipped (imo) and im not just saying this as someone who is soulbounded, but also as someone who has read the book multiple times and interoperated it. if you do, fine, go ahead, butBUT their affair is an act of rebellion against the party. connection isn’t allowed, SEX isn’t allowed between people who WANT it. There are unspoken LAWS placed against the people of Oceania and instead of leading a revolution against Big Brother, their relationship, which is an affair, is an act of rebellion in its own, aside from Winston’s diary. Yes, Julia passes a note and it says “i love you” but it isn’t MEANT TO BE READ AS A ROMANTIC CONFESSIONN. they aren’t a cutie couple to ship, (again, in my strong opinion!)!!!!

4) while i accept the book as canon, i accept my au WAYYYY more. and Julia doesn’t exist in the canon i believe more over the book.

5) reporting for me being in a relationship with a man u believe to be fictional is very odd. but u do u. im #free and full of love.
