that episode was so good even if i’m still bitter about why it happened but i gotta address two things. 1) not that long ago lachlan wanted to kill lawrence; he wanted to know what it’d be like to kill someone and he was going to kill his grandad. tonight he actually killed him and admitted that he’d never seen someone die before, that it wasn’t how he expected and was clearly upset which he hadn’t considered before. it’s an interesting parallel to me. 2) even more recently he let his family believe he’d died (and there were plenty of mentions of how in doing so he might as well have killed chrissie too). now he actually has killed her and it’s possible that, instead of everyone else believing he’s dead, this time he’s the only one who lived. it’s been a while since emmerdale’s writing got me this fucked up lads
