He said to his companion, “Do not grieve. Indeed, God is with us.” Thereupon God bestowed upon him from of His serenity, and strengthened him with forces you could not see.
— Qur'ān, 9:40
“If there is anywhere on earth a lover of God who is protected from life's difficulties, I know nothing of it, for it was not shown to me. But this was shown: that in falling and rising again, we are always embraced in God's precious love.”
— Julian of Norwich

Allah swt said, "I am as My servant thinks I am."
If we are made in His image, does it then mean we insult Him when we insult and demean ourselves? If He created us in a state of perfection, as a reflection of His divine perfection, then who are we to question our worth? Oh Allah, give me leave to grant the same mercy to myself which You grant to me. Let me love myself as You have loved me. Ameen.
Oh Allah, Help me to Remember You, and Thank You, and Worship You in the Best of manners
It’s all up to God and it’s all up to us. We think of God as generosity, that the generosity of the infinite is infinite and we are the generosity of God, each breath, each heartbeat, the sun, everything, all of this is the generosity of God’s presence flowed out like this. It’s all up to God but it’s all up to us in this sense, that if we don’t pray, there’s no prayer. If we don’t choose it and stand by the choice with grace, the choice doesn’t stabilize. It’s an act of freedom, it’s an act to freely choose to say yes to this and live by the yes. It’s an echo of God's yes to me...Love is never imposed. It’s always offered. It’s always invitational. You realize in a singular way, you feel the invitation. See? But then the path is your acceptance of the invitation by living by it.

كلَّمَا تَاهَــــت خُطَاك وَضَـــاقَت دُروبَـك
Whenever your steps are lost and your paths grow narrow,
وَضَـجَّ فُــؤادَك «عُد لڪتابِ رَبّك»
and your heart cries out «return to the Book of your Lord»
فَفِي القَلبِ اضطرِاب لا يثبّتهُ إلا القُرآن ..
For in the heart there is a restlessness that nothing can steady except the Qur’an…
﴿ كَذَٰلِكَ لِنُثَبِّتَ بِهِ فُؤَادَكَ ﴾
We sent it in this way to strengthen/steady your heart 25:32
