Thank you Hugh, for 17 years of Wolverine. 💜
a nsa agent in a suit looking through my laptop camera: she’s on her phone…….. our data shows that she’s got tumblr open on her laptop but she has tumblr open on her phone………. double check her browser?
some nerd hired straight out of college: *types rapidly* she’s definitely got tumblr open on her laptop
the nsa agent, softly: so why is she looking at it on her phone…..

Disabled People Are Allowed To Party in Public
Last night, I was at a club celebrating my friends’ engagement. Disregarding the amount of times a guy looked my way but immediately turned when seeing my cane, something happened that threw a bucket of cold water on my night.
While working my way through the crowd (something very difficult with a cane), a girl dancing kicked my cane hard enough that it almost flew out of my hands (thank goodness for wrist straps). She stopped, turned towards me in anger. She looked me up and down, looked at my cane, then with a look of disgust she shouted “WHY ARE YOU EVEN HERE?”
I was so shocked and hurt that I just kept walking, but I wish I had stopped. I’m allowed to go out and celebrate. I’m allowed to party in public. My existence shouldn’t have to be hidden for able bodied people’s ability to party. If you had kicked another person’s leg while dancing, you would apologize. Kicking my cane should have the same response, not a verbal attack filled with disdain.
I’m allowed to be happy. I’m allowed to be in the same spaces as you. My disability does not exclude me from society. I’m not required to stay out of sight, out of your path. I’m a human, just as much as you.
I truly wish harm upon the offender because that is fucking wild. it’s too much
Many white women have said to me, ‘We wanted black women and non-white women to join the movement,’ totally unaware of their perception that they somehow ‘own’ the movement, that they are the ‘hosts’ inviting us as ‘guests.’
