I will charge you extra if you want more than 6k words–but I will not charge you if I go over the word count of my own volition. For reference, assume an extra $1 for every extra 1k tacked on, but we can talk details if you’re interested.

Overwatch - McHanzo, McGenji, Widowtracer, Pharmercy, Sombra/Symmetra, Pharah/Symmetra, Reaper76, Genyatta, Gency

These are the ships I would be best at writing, in order of my comfort level. This isn’t an extensive list, though. I’m also happy to write gen-fic, or friendship fic, etc. I will write McReyes, but not with any interaction (sexual or otherwise) between underage McCree and Reyes. Not budging on that. I will not write Shimadacest, Roadrat, or D.Va/76. 

Other fandoms I will write for include: Harry Potter, Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Merlin, and MCU (stucky in particular) stuff. If you’re interested in one of those or others, feel free to ask!

Guidelines

I’m willing to write smut, and am open to a variety of kinks - just ask! I will not write underage, incest, bestiality, non/dub-con, or scat/watersports.

Violence and illness are okay. Character death is fine too. Concerning grim stuff–bring it on. You ain’t gunna bother me.

Please be patient! I’m a full time law student, and sometimes life crops up in ways I did not expect. Typically I write pretty fast, but if that’s not the case with your commission, please don’t assume I’ve abandoned you. You’re always welcome to reach out if you’re getting anxious, but I’m not going to tolerate harassment. 

Asking for updates or requests to see the WIP are both acceptable practices! I encourage it if there’s specific things you want to be just right. 

I reserve the right to post the completed fic on my blog or my ao3 account. I also reserve the right not to post it. Either way, I will not take kindly to you reposting it and claiming it as your own. 

Payment & Refunds

I ask that payment be made up front through paypal - select “Goods and Services” and “No Address Required.” If I have not yet started writing your fic, you can request a full refund. If I have begun writing your fic, you can request a partial refund based on how much of the fic has been completed - i.e. if I’m about halfway done with it, you would get a 50% refund.

I will also reserve one (1) slot for trades! If you want to swap art, or fic, or something, don’t hesitate to bring it up! But keep in mind, I’m a starving student and I don’t actually get paid by my clients yet. If I turn down the offer, it’s not a reflection on your work. I might just need to make rent.

are you ready for the latest in research-based [ingroup] demographic stereotypy? this one’s a doozy.

In our clinical practice, adults with IQ scores in and above the superior range have sought evaluation and treatment for chronic difficulties with organizing their work, excessive procrastination, inconsistent effort, excessive forgetfulness, and lack of adequate focus for school and/or employment. They question whether they might have an attention deficit disorder, but often they have been told by educators and clinicians that their superior intelligence precludes their having ADHD.

Typically, these very bright individuals report that they are able to work very effectively on certain tasks in which they have strong personal interest or intense fear of immediate negative consequences if they do not complete the task at once. Yet they are chronically unable to make themselves do many tasks of daily life they recognize as important but do not see as personally interesting at that moment. When provided treatment appropriate for ADHD, these very bright individuals often report significant improvement in their ability to work effectively while their medication is active.

Clinical interviews with patients in this study indicated that individuals with high IQ who have ADHD may be at increased risk of having recognition and treatment of their ADHD symptoms delayed until relatively late in their educational careers because teachers and parents tend to blame the student’s disappointing academic performance on boredom or laziness, especially as they notice the situational variability of their ADHD symptoms.

Like most others with ADHD, these individuals have a few specific domains in which they have always been able to focus very well, for example, sports, computer games, artistic or musical pursuits, reading self-elected materials. Parents and teachers tend to assume that these very bright persons could focus on any other tasks equally well, if only they chose to do so. These observers do not understand that although ADHD appears to be a problem of insufficient willpower, it is not (Brown, 2005).

Many also reported that they often demonstrated considerable prowess in performing specific tasks in which they had little positive personal interest but did experience considerable fear of immediate negative consequences if they did not complete that particular task by some external deadline. Often subjects described this as a character trait, “I’m just a severe procrastinator” or “I always work best under pressure.”

In an unpublished study of 103 treatment-seeking adults with IQ 120 or more diagnosed with ADHD, Brown and Quinlan (1999) found that 42% had dropped out of postsecondary schooling at least once, although some did eventually return to complete a degree. Those data together with this present study suggest that individuals with high IQ and ADHD, despite their strong cognitive abilities, may be at significant risk of educational disruption or failure due to ADHD-related impairments of EF.

(2006) […] found that adults with ADHD who self-reported elevated levels of EF impairments on the CBS tended to be significantly more impaired on measures of global functioning, had more comorbidities, and held lower current socioeconomic status than did those with or without ADHD who scored below the median on that scale. His regular skin is wearing heels that are at least 1.5″ (probably 1 3/4″), given his height and the proportional length of his foot, and the super curvy sole exaggerates his heel height in his Blackwatch skin (his regular boots are more broken in because cowboys on the run probably live in their clothes). But really, his Blackwatch boots can’t be more than about 1/4″ taller than his regular boots.

(The black and tan boots at the top have 2″ heels and less broken-in soles because fashion, and the brown boots below have 1.5″ heels and soles that have been professionally broken in by a cobbler for the website photos.)
