Guys Modern SpongeBob ain’t gonna kill ya 😭
So everyone knows how Modern SpongeBob is hated TO ITS CORE
(Just look on YouTube to see all the documentaries of how much hate there is)
Modern SpongeBob actually has some really good episodes in its really modern seasons
• “Home away From Home” (Season 17, episode 5) was REALLY GOOD, I loved the concept of SpongeBob, Patrick, and Squidward’s houses being best friends despite Squidward hating them :3 plus I love the concept of all the houses being alive while they’re away from home :D
• “My Tighty Whiteys” (Season 17, episode 13) was also really good :D I loved the song that played in it too!! ^^
• “Sea Man Sponge Haters Club” (Season 13, episode 7) I LOVED this episode!! I love the concept of everyone twisting the narrative to make out SpongeBob to be a perfectionist/monster/evil when in reality he’s a sweet lil goober!! XD
• “The Salty Sponge” (Season 13, episode 14) I LOVED THIS EPISODE TOO!!! I love how SpongeBob is too sweet to do anything rough like everyone in the salty spitoon, and he ends up changing it into something sweet too!! <:D
• “Bubbletown” (Season 11, episode 23) THIS EPISODE WAS AWESOME!! I love the fact Bubble Buddy gets more lore and stays along SpongeBob’s side as his best friends, I love it and I think it’s rlly adorable <3
Now don’t get me wrong, I also LOVE early SpongeBob!! The episodes are really good and the artstyle is too!! But just because YOU want your nostalgia of watching early SpongeBob after a day of school back, doesn’t mean you should bitch and whine about it 24/7 ToT
Plus I think the reason why it’s so hated is because they just want their nostalgia of SpongeBob back, saying that the characters are flanderized af, the plot is 100% inconsistent, and the episodes are reusing plots, even though it’s not doing any of those?? In fact I think that everyone had really good character development/they act the same as they did in the past T_T
Plus everyone constantly HATES on the sequels they had, like Kamp Koral and the Patrick Star Show, even tho they’re actually really good, and they’re using the fact Steven Hillenburg didn’t want any sequels as an excuse to bitch about them
It’s SpongeBob yall, not Classic fucking Literature
