A week and a half later I’m still a bit in shock that I’m engaged! But as we are also just moving into a new apartment, we promised each other we wouldn’t wedding plan until after everything is unpacked. But he’s okay with me binging Say Yes to the Dress.

Day 2: mostly ladies back for the morning/early afternoon, we did a lot yesterday and are taking it slow. Ran some errands, bought sarongs at Costco, and have enjoyed just being on this tropical island. We’re planning on spending some time on the beach/in the ocean this afternoon. (at Kihei, Hawaii)

So far today: • Climbed the rocks down to feel this mist of waves crashing against them. • Ate amazing pizza for lunch • Gelato on the beach • Built a “Darth Vader” in the sand (And it’s not even the hottest part of the day yet!)

This morning I saw the sunrise on the east coast. Tonight I saw the sunset on the west. And tomorrow I’ll see the sunrise/sunset in Maui! One more flight and then I’m there! #mauibound (at LAX - Los Angeles International Airport)

First layover and I discovered I lost my iPhone chargers (and the bag of sweet treats Id packed) on my first flight. But I also found a Jamba Juice and bought a smoothie (2nd today!) because my meal times are all wonky with traveling.
