the base of this au involved Izuku Midoriya meeting All might 2 years before canon timeline (guess he could be in 7th grade but not 100% sure on school system) and of course All might tells him the truth the nicest way he can but there’s nothing to show Izuku’s potential the reality just leaves a much different timeline.
