Well, it’s 9/11/2020. To our heroes of 19 years ago, thank you for all you did. Thank you to the first responders, the firemen and firewomen, the police, the paramedics, the EMT’s, the nurses, the doctors, the search and rescue teams and all the other people that stepped up on that day in September and stayed at their posts, their jobs, their faiths in the hours, days, weeks, months to come. To our heroes of 2020 thank you for all you did and all your are still doing. I don’t think any of us realized that grocery store clerks, gas station attendants, postal workers, delivery people, and so many more would be our heroes, but you are, all of you that make normal life possible. Thank you. 9/11 was a rallying point that brought the country together, 2020 seems to divide us more and more against each other. Let us hope when this year is behind us that we will rediscover that divided we fall, and united we stand. Let us relearn how to have faith in each other and find hope in our hearts, minds, and spirits. Let us come together to help each other through this year. Hope, faith, and charity whether it’s now, nineteen years ago, or a hundred years ago we haven’t come up with anything really that tops those three, but this time we can go forward with hope, faith, and charity for more of us, for all of us with no one left out, no one left behind, but all of us moving forward together made stronger by our differences rather than divided by them. #september11 #America #2020 #unitedwestand #lkh #lkhamilton #laurellkhamilton #writing #reading https://www.instagram.com/p/CE_viRMALZ_/?igshid=94ptp00t55xi
