so ive been talking about this on and off with a few people. ive mentioned it here in a previous post, which has since been deleted because i prefer to keep real life and rp separate. but back in april i was sexually assaulted.

the man was the owner of an autoshop and has a history for using his business as a front to lure in unsuspecting women he could corner, harass, and abuse. i was the first person to file a case against him, but since i came forward, four other women have placed similar complaints with the beverly pd, with three of those women filing charges. below is a series of articles, on the case:

i was the april case referenced in the first article, which has since been dismissed. since the other women have come forward back in october, he has been in police custody, but as of yesterday that is no longer the case. fuck, i mean, the only reason i realized he was back was because i passed by his shop last night and saw that his lights were on.

to put it bluntly, the salem district attorneys office has refused to indict him. i also did a bit of digging and realized that the reviews i and a couple of other victims left on his google review page warning that he was a predator had been removed, with a number of... er... suspicious reviews being left in their place.

these were all left right around the time he was taken into custody:

obviously hes deleting critical reviews. however, i left another and almost immediately got this response:

infuriating!

he IS listed as “permanently closed” on apple maps, but not on google. i suspect this meant “closed for the foreseeable future” and was from when he was first taken into custody. however, i forgot i had filed a complaint with MA state, asking for his business license to be revoked. i included the police report and news articles. i doubt anything came of it, or that those are connected, but heres hoping

in the meanwhile, there's not much else i can do. my case was dismissed, and his track record for accountability is abysmal. the only thing i can think of is spamming his review page with negative reviews, but i'm only one person.

i know it isnt much but im terrified of him landing on his feet and reopening. he has shown absolutely zero signs of remorse and i have no doubt that he will continue to victimize women if left to his own devices. if any of you could spare the time to, i dont know, leave a negative review, or something just to drop his businesses rating, that would mean the world to me. right now its rated 5.0 on google. its disgusting.

panic deleted this last night but either theres something going on with google, or he's removing reviews because i can no longer see the one i most recently left. so now im pissed off again.

edit: i think theres something wrong with google. i found the review i left three months ago, but i can only see it if i log in from a separate account. the reviews the other victims left are just no longer there.

(i’m back! kind of. let me explain.

i have a computer finally, but rping exclusively on discord for the past couple of months meant i did a lot of development of my muses and i came to the conclusion that, while i love gravity falls and i love pacifica as a character, ive started to feel limited by keeping her as a canon muse.

so, ive decided im just going to take the jump and turn her into an oc. i’ve already been rping her as an oc for a few months now and it’s been really nice. i love having complete freedom over her and not feeling like i need to be restricted by what is canon and explain every single divergence and extra fleshing out ive done. im still deciding on if i want to keep this blog and simply rework it into my new oc’s or if i want to make a new acct. but i am really excited to get to rp on tumblr again now that i’ll have the freedom of doing whatever i want. i also want to revamp another oc’s blog and made a third one for my pirate oc so. stuff will be in the works for a bit!!

most, if not all, of the blogs i rped with that were a part of pacificas development have since been abandoned and i feel that with how much history she has, it's difficult to rp w anyone new.

but i still very much love pacifica and so, i feel like the best course of action to take is to do a hard reset on her. erase everything i had happen to her and start her back at square one.

im not sure how ill tackle it, but ill figure something out.

(in all realness tho- i’ve been having a really hard time with wanting to be active on tumblr for a number of reasons.

one of them being that i’ve been stuck without a computer for awhile now and have been mobile bound. i cannot fucking stand the tumblr mobile layout whatsoever so its killed my desire to post on here. but also it’s been hard bc well. the gravity falls rpc is dead and no one really seems that interested in rping w that fandom anymore(especially not any characters that aren’t dipper or bill). it’s been a genuine struggle to find new rp partners and interactions. i try to not talk about it a lot, but i deal w a lot of insecurities over my portrayal and if people are interested in pacifica or not. after awhile, it really gets to me. i’ve been exclusively writing on discord as of late because i feel like w the servers i’m in, people are actually interested in writing w me on there. the app isn’t as busted as tumblr is and it’s very easy for me to reply to things in a lower pressure environment.

so this blog isn’t dead, i’m sure once i get access to a computer again i’ll go back to posting on here. but it is on a hiatus of sorts i guess. my discord is open to whoever if you wanna write. just DM me and i’ll give you my handle.)

General Appearance:

In Angel Form, she looks similar to Lia having a pale bluish-purple skin tone with purple freckle-like markings, silver hair with teal/blue and purple highlights and gold eyes. Unlike Lia she only has 2 arms in this form but she still has the same number of fingers as Lia. (4 on each hand). Her wings will have multicolor feathers and she will also have a set of tail-feathers like her Angel parent. 

In Human Form, she shares a lot more features with Pacifica. Like both of her parents she will have pale blonde fluffy hair. She has a lightly tan skin tone, no freckles and distinctly has Pacifica’s nose. Her eyes are a light icy blue and she appears to be rather dainty in stature.  

Personality: She’s a smart and bright kid and has a natural curiosity and desire to learn. She’s a little naïve believing there is good in everyone and occasionally can be a little mischievous because who wouldn’t be if your parents are rich and one of them is a government official. 

Special Talents: As she gets older she is shown to be a very exceptional dancer. While she isn’t a direct empath like Lia though, she finds it easy to connect to others and empathize with them and her powers are tied to her emotions as well. 

Who they like better: Pacifica. She looks up to her a lot.

Who they take after more: Lia

Personal Head canon:  The ability to trick Lia into giving in to what she wants a good 80% of the time, how does she does this? Who knows. She knows one mom is kinda gullible as long as she doesn’t directly lie. 

Face Claim: I have no clue I’m bad at this but I guess cause I don’t know any faceclaims with the correct skintone I’ll go with Kaori Miyazono from Your lie in April.

Pacifica felt like she was going to be sick despite how empty her stomach was. It was so hard to breath, like someone’s hands were wrapped tight around her throat. Pacifica clawed at her neck, needing to make sure that wasn’t the case. Her nails dug into the fabric of her turtleneck, hints of bruises peeking out from under the fabric. Splotchy, deep blue discolorations marring her skin.

“All my power, e-everything I am, is only because of the work they put in me.” She hated blurting this out, but feeling like she’d tricked Missi into thinking she wasn’t a worthless person somehow felt worse. “It- I should have listened. It was my fault. I just, I - I make them so mad. If I was better-” She tried to breath, tried to calm herself down. “Please, please don’t tell anyone you saw me like this- my parents are already angry enough.”

A very hellish magic would spark from Missi’s form as she was slowly consumed by rage. Those pathetic excuses of vampires thought that this was how to treat a young woman? The bruises under the turtleneck were quite clear even if she only had one eye to see with and it only continued to fuel her rage. Trying to keep herself calm was very difficult since she didn’t want to lash out at Pacifica, no, Missi had a much bigger fish to fry and the monsters that lived within her body were eager to push her further down this path. No remorse was felt for such dispicable creatures that masqueraded around as a higher power. It was clear to Missi they did not deserve their immortality if this was how they were going to spend it.

“ No. Do not listen to them. You don’t need them anymore, you never needed them. “ One deep breath, two, and Missi could compose herself enough to console her panicked friend. Even if she spoke softly there was a kind of pure, unhinged hatred behind her words. “ They are nothing but cowards. Preying on those they see as weak. My home is open to you, for a safe place to go that will be away from them. I suggest that you take up residence there as I have… business that I must discuss with these parents of yours. “

"No- no no no no, please, you can't!" In her desperation she grabbed Missi's hands. "They're extremely powerful. They'll kill you if you piss them off. Or, or at the very least like, really hurt you." She was being sincere, that level of fear in her voice was hard to fake. "They've done it before."

Missi wasn't the first person who had tried to get revenge for Pacifica's sake. And every time in the past, it had never ended well. Pacifica's parents were old and powerful. And when they worked together, it was a terrifying sight to behold. Nothing could stand in their way.

And Pacifica was scared of what that would mean for Missi. She didn't know if Missi was more powerful than them(especially when put together) or not, and she wasn't willing to roll the dice on it. Pacifica gently squeezed her hands, "Please. Just, just like, leave them alone. I know how to handle them, I'm used to it. It's safer for everyone involved if I just make them happy."

(pacifica has an issue where she will be much more forgiving of other people and less judgemental but in the same breath demonize herself and berate herself for the same exact thing.

(pacifica tends to place more value in formal education due to her upbringing. however, she doesn't look down on self education as much as she used to due to teaching herself how to sew and make clothing.

she still holds a bit of that prejudice against self education however since anything she teaches herself she doesn't have nearly as much confidence in vs something she learned in a formal setting. (ie: how she is proud of and willing to share her ballet vs how she is embarrassed by her interest in making/designing clothes and attempts to hide it) )
