I've been lifting for a long time. However, unless I know the store very very well I do not take large items just makeup. I have a ton of stuff from ulta/ sephora but only small things I can conceal very easily. I've been dying to get a naked 2 and naked 3 palette but the size of the boxes makes me nervous! Any tips? And do you know if they will be tagged at all? Thanks bb love your blog 💕

i would probably go to ulta, seeing as they dont have tons of employees walking around the store 24/7 and they have a drugstore section that usually doesnt have any cameras. when you grab the palette you should open the box and take out the palette. act like youre just checking to see if everything is okay. when you put it back in the box take a quick look in the box too. some stores tag and some stores dont so make sure to check. if you dont wanna be too obvious or if there are employees around you can stick it in the very back to come back and get it later/ take it to a blindspot to conceal it (i wouldnt stick a palette that big in your bag. stick it in your waistband or something like that. if you beep on your way out or on your way into the bathroom they will stop you and look in your bag.just dont be stupid.

is claire's easy to lift from? any tips?? thankuu

depends on your skills, the store, and the employees. idk if they have a lot of cameras. the best way to lift stuff would probably be to have whatever you want in your hand and then bend over to look at the bottom row and stick it in your jacket. i know some of the stuff they have is tagged to look for tags and try to remove them.

So what is the point of a seam ripper? What do you USE it for?

seam ripper is used to remove tags. it will leave a hole in whatever youre taking it off of tho.

aside from being cissexist the whole XX = female and XY = male thing is Straight-Up Wrong

AFAB people can have XO, XXX, XXXX and XY chromosomes while AMAB people have have XXYY, XYY, and XX chromosomes and since the majority of the population never has their karyotype examined,  they’ll never know that they have one of these chromosomal quirks unless that specific combination has associated symptoms, and not all of them do. you could literally have one of the aforementioned combinations without even knowing it and meanwhile you’re insisting that all AFAB people are XX and that anyone else who has this must also be female

we could also talk about how hormonal patterns for XX persons can naturally and biologically mirror that of a typical XY person, or vis versa, which gives rise to things like androgen insensitivity disorder. here u have it, folks, an whole group of intersex people who have XY chromosomes and testicles and vulva and vagina, all grown naturally, all at the same time. 

the number of people who are intersex mirror the number of people who are born with red hair, but no one goes around trying to say that red isn’t a natural hair colour just because the phenotype doesn’t manifest in the majority of the population.

I feel bad bc I'm a 14 year old girl who lifts because my parents aren't so well endowed to buy me all the nice makeup I want honestly I feel so guilty but I feel guilty asking my parents for too faced mascara. Ugh sorry I just needed to unload that

its ok i totally get umy dad ised to have to use the money id saved up in my piggy bank to pay rent, and if we were running low on money he always cancels his car insurance bc he cant afford it.
