ok hi this is just. thirteen's music taste. in my opinion.

this is gonna be a veryy long rant. to be honest i will probably just combine what she would listen to at the time with present day music because timelines are BORING sometimes. this is also going to be a mix of albums + songs. that fit her

a little tl;dr though, thirteen doesn't seem like the niche type. she's mainstream-adjacent (queer mainstream imo?) but her music taste. isn't unpopular (this is due to the fact that she thinks she is wayyy more niche than she actually is). also i don't think that she listens to that much rock music. I also think that there's a difference between songs that fit her thematically, and songs that she would listen to. in that she doesn't listen to songs that fit her thematically but rather listens to songs that she thinks she's like because (imo) she lacks complete self-awareness (especially during party arc). that being said, i doubt that this is accurate and i think it is very hard to depict a character's music taste when. there is literally no grounds for it. we're grabbing at straws here.

what else? i can see her being an arca fan. she would definitely get down to that after getting wayy too drunk/fucked up.

i can also see her being super into early FKA twigs. just because she is so depressed. couldn't decide between EP2 and LP1 so. both i guess

now with rock music? i think she would like it. definitely was an emo in highschool. but i honestly see her being into political rock (especially due to thirteen canonically being super woke). she's definitely a big le tigre fan i KNOW remy is obsessed with kathleen hanna

i would also imagine that she'd like bratmobile. no real reason for this other than thirteen being Mega Woke

in terms of specific songs that she would like, though

why? she definitely loves drag. and voguing. and house (the genre not mr gregory). can't see her disliking this.

why? she is sad inside.

why? i think she would like the vibe of this song + album (very esoteric). also this reminds me of foreteen quite a bit. so i am biased

why? i feel like this just seems like something she would enjoy.
