I find it a little funny when 90% of HadesQin ship art is Qin trying to flirt and seduce Hades when most of Hades's dialogue towards Qin in the manga was borderline adoration. If anything it should kinda be the other way around

And yeah, get it. Hades is still technically a tired and grumpy old boy who takes things seriously, but he's also very snarky and silly in his own way. The man once played chess with a parakeet whilst a suicidal demon barged into his room. Not to mention how sweetly doting he is to his brothers.

Meanwhile, Qin being a silly little goober and a people pleaser is both times adorable and kinda bittersweet when you realize he probably acts that way because 1) his early childhood being full of agony before Chun Yan and 2) he is always at risk of being in constant pain/discomfort without his bandana and can't allow that side to show. In the end of the day, Qin takes his position deathly seriously.

Anyway, both characters are goofy af in their own right and they compliment each other very well. And I love them both so much♡.

ok HEAR ME OUT theres this certain genre of yaoi that i like to call dudebro yaoi. because its all gay ships from anime and manga that have predominantly ultramasculine fanbases

examples:

- sung jinwoo/liu zhigang from solo leveling

- literally any ship from record of ragnarok minus adam/eve (and brunnhilde/siegfried) but im specifically talking about hadesqin rn because im obsessed with them

- thorfinn/prince canute from vinland saga (thinking war era but could be any arc)

- griffith/guts from berserk (but only half counts since theres a lot of fujos there bc its just a popular manga)

- ships like nagumo/shin from sakamoto days, chihiro with that white haired gayass from kagurabachi (i havent read lol), tokio/azuma from choujin x, shiki/mikado or shiki/jin from tougen anki also only half count because i do see a lot of east asian/seasian fujos fight for them but it seems like their fanbases in eng speaking communities are aurafarming dudebros.. thats just me though
