i know it’s supposed to be dystopian, but Soylent Green (1973) had the most sexist vision of the future (2022) i’ve ever seen, by far

Original article: Hondurasgate: audios revelados apuntan a operación del trumpismo para golpear a Petro, Sheinbaum y la izquierda latinoamer
A recent leak has brought to light the existence of a political and media cell associated with Trumpism, funded by Honduran government structures, aimed at destabilizing both Gustavo Petro’s administration in Colombia and Claudia Sheinbaum’s in Mexico, as well as the Latin American left.
A collection of audios obtained by Diario Red revealed discussions between former Honduran president Juan Orlando Hernández—who was convicted of drug trafficking in the United States and later pardoned by the Donald Trump administration—and the current president of the Central American nation, Nasry Asfura, along with his vice president, María Antonieta Mejía.
The recordings detail the formation of a communication team funded with Honduran public resources and contributions from the government of Argentine president Javier Milei, totaling over half a million dollars. The objective is to “strike media blows” against the progressive leaders in the region.

80 year old, conservative, straight male neighbor called me “babe” weeks ago, and the gender euphoria has been at a peak ever since 😯
This whole project was heavily inspired by the work of Lina Shamoon/ Mirrors by Lina (website here, check out her very cool and much higher quality work). My spin on things is definitely not made as well as her stuff, but I'm still loving the effect.
I go on Tumblr, I feel basic. I go out into the real world and people look at me like I fell out of a ufo

"you only deserve food and shelter if you contribute to society" says people living in countries where nobody's labor actually feeds or benefits their neighbors anymore but exclusively benefits the companies keeping the food and shelter behind the artificial paywalls
You're not nomads relying on each other to hunt and gather anymore, you're talking about stocking shelves for fucking wal marts
And even the oldest societies on earth all took care of the elderly or sick anyway
dudes will be like "if you don't Contribute To Society you don't get to live, that's the simple facts" meanwhile their job is like Marketing and Brand Development Specialist
