Excuse me sir, that utility cover is for protecting hardware, not for little toads to sit in. This toad is, as always, a Gulf coast toad [Incilius nebulifer]. It was found in Texas City, Texas, by iNaturalist user Aaronmc82.

Thank you for your kindness, they were very special to me, so I’d like to share some of my favorite pics.

Sunflower/Sunny was my first and is the one w/ dark stripes under her eyes. Rainy is the other one w/ smaller spots on her belly. They had the best RBFs and loved to stack themselves or huddle together in their hides 💕💕

Holly being a bean to her little sister Meadow

Holly is a hybrid of an American Toad and a Fowler’s Toad. Baby Meadow is a Canadian Toad.
