I made it there early, though hiccup and hitch, the weather is **diabolical levels of humid** so I had been sweating my balls of getting there in a long skirt (which was actually just an even longer dress folded up because I dont own a skirt considered formal.) Tights, heels and a white shirt that was simultaneously too big while having a collar that felt too tight.

However, they appreciated my dressing choices and the fact that I had done prior research. My lack of experience didnt matter because the whole point of the apprenticeship is too teach me and im hearing back from them by friday!

Almost worth the molten walk back.

Also, fair point, *however I have fared under less sleep.* I have a terrible habit of not sleeping before any sort of event.

I’m the same way, road trips are going to be really fun once I get a good mileage car because my mindset is “why wait?! Let’s go right now!” Cause I can’t sleep for shit. 

I’ve been alright, recovering from socializing for 8 hours, and thinking about nerdy butches :P the portal shower is so real I finally fixed my light in my shower cause it would buzz super loudly and I have a tendency to take 2 am showers 🫰

Its currently 1am and I am *researching like a madwoman* over this role im getting an interview for a few hours later. (Pharmacy stuff) and UGH.

Trying to excuse going to sleep rn.

Like, the interviews at 2pm. If I wake up around 6am I have time to get ready early, do the research, and get there at a relatively slow, breathable pace.

BUT. I cant sleep. And I feel like I should be doing it now.

Lunch meats when it’s not roast beef sickens me to the core everything reminds me of the sweaty meat slabs of turkey found in lunchsbles and the horror I feel in my bones is unimaginable. Meat shouldn’t be this thin or circular. Least roast beef has some shredded edges to it. Atleast it’s got something going for it. There’s no amount of mayonnaise that can fix this, it will slide right off anyways. It too damn smooth. Roast beef got texture and ridges. I don’t want polished, and smooth I want rugged and something worthy of tearing apart.
