Since Markiplier is the husband of an Atiny and has sung Ateez during one of his videos before, I'm just gonna drop this here and say:

This man made a whole-ass movie based on an indie horror game, brought in the original creator of the game to assist in script writing, brought in the original video game soundtrack composer to create the movie score, funded the project by himself, brought in his own crew he's worked with on all his previous large-scale filming projects, and built a goddamn render farm in his own bathroom because he edited the entire movie by himself and needed custom cooling after his AC blew up.

On top of that, he also halted production while the SAG-AFTRA strike was going on to show support, turned down a role in 'Five Nights at Freddy's' so he could keep working on this project, and broke the world record for most fake blood ever used on a movie set, beating out 'Evil Dead' which used 190,000 liters - and he even got so much of it into his eye that it got him sent to the hospital during the shooting of this first teaser:

And now, as someone who's been a fan of this guy for over a decade, I can tell you he really, really doesn't know how to half-ass shit, which is why I know this movie will be fucking incredible, and now that tickets are finally on sale with the release of the final trailer, I better be seeing them selling out like crazy so we can get international screenings, because I DIDN'T WAIT TWO WHOLE FUCKING YEARS FOR THIS, JUST SO I CAN'T WATCH IT IN A GODDAMN THEATER!

I also think choosing the line "I just wanna live... is that so wrong? Why doesn't anybody else want that?" is a really gut-wrenching way to end a horror movie trailer and says a lot about where this movie's focus will lie - fear, isolation, a desperate need for survival, and honestly, that's the direction I was really hoping this would go in.

Hey Y’all! The first chapter of the Bullet Train fic is DONE but I haven’t POSTED it yet. (It clocks in at around 6k words!)

I’m doing some editing on it right now, and working on the second chapter too. I’m hoping to get three chapters in before I post the first one so I have a little bit of backlog for when school starts! (All my chapters are going to try and hit the 5k word mark minimum)

Also y'all this really ties into how impactful comments are and why it's so encouraged to leave comments and leave NICE ones. If I hadn't known this was spam, and if I'd gotten this on my currently-updating fic, it would've crushed me and likely convinced me to never update again. Adversely, even one nice comment from someone is enough to motivate me to write and share more. If you read a fic you liked, tell the author that! If you're reading an unfinished fic, leave a comment to say you're excited for more, or comment throughout chapters even! It really is so easy and quick to do, and it's not only nice but it can also completely alter a writer's motivation and inspiration

Fanfic writers, please be aware that for some reason having bots spam fics with negative comments is a thing now. Not sure what anyone gets out of spreading misery, but just know it's not anything to do with your fic. I got one that was like, "This fic is a delight ... just kidding, it's unfunny and tedious." It was very clearly unrelated to the content of the fic but for someone else it might have been heartbreaking.

Write it messy. Write it like your hands are shaking and your heart is breaking. Write it with fear clawing at your throat and doubt screaming in your ears. Write it when you don’t know how it ends, or even what the hell is going on—but write it anyway. Write it because your soul is begging for a way out, a way through, a way to breathe.

Write it like you’re lost, like you’re standing in the dark with nothing but a spark of a character’s voice whispering in your mind. Let that be enough. Let that carry you.

Don’t you dare sit there and let some machine try to do the beautiful, terrifying, gut-wrenching work of bleeding your heart onto the page. Generative AI can simulate your story, but it can’t feel what you feel. It can’t hurt the way you do. It can’t ache, can’t dream, can’t fall in love with your characters the way you do.

So write it scared. Write it tired. Write it when you hate yourself. Write it when you love the world. Write it when you think you’re not good enough, because that’s when you’re telling the truth. That’s when it matters most.

But above all else—write it yourself. Even if it’s shitty. Even if it’s slow. Even if every sentence feels like pulling teeth. Because this is your voice. And no one else gets to speak for it.
