The amazing digital circus fans have to be one of the most media illiterate people on this planet. How are you going to watch a character call themself a homophobic slur, have the more quiet and sheepish (characteristics that are viewed as non-masculine) persona chained, have a bow put on their head and told “your secret’s safe with me”, a montage of them with a song “isn’t she lovely” (which I KNOW is a song about Stevie Wonder’s daughter but does metaphorical rebirth as your true self not mean anything to you?) and not even entertain the idea of this character being transgender. “But Jax has he/him in instagram bio” accepting that you’re trans does not happen in a day. This character is a self insert of a transgender woman. The show already has two queer characters but pepole are fighting tooth and nail to not have a trans woman in it.
